Excellent high end French restaurant with knowledgeable staff and delicious food. Service was excellent. The setting is small and cozy, great for a date. Smart casual dress code.

We had a great time. The food was very good. The service was faultless .. attentive without being intrusive. Very husband and wife team. You just want them to do well.

Exquisite fine dining at Michelin plate French restaurant owned and operated by unassumingly friendly Taiwanese couple, Claude Chen and chef Vanessa Huang. Both had once lived in France, and opened this cosy (never serving more than 20 pax per night) boutique French restaurant about 5...More

Ephernite is my favourite restaurant in Taipei and one I would definitely recommend. While there are a number of high-end Michelin star restaurants in Taipei, I think this is better and would deserve a star. We have tried Raw, Mume and Gen Creative and for...More

We have been here in 2017 Jan and had a good impression, therefore in 2019 Jan we went again. It's a big disappointment. The total price of the wine and dinner was a shock. While making the reservation, you need to choose the course with...More

The dishes we had were all light and refreshing, all beautifully curated with distinct French-style fine dining techniques, sprinkled with hints of Scandinavian fine dining flairs here and there. Several of the 7 or 8 dishes that we had came adorned with small pieces of...More

I wanted to book RAW or MUME at first, but I aways book everything the very last minute so it’s impossible to reserve a table there. So we end up booking a table at Ephernite, which it surly didn’t disappoint. When I booked the table,...More

Chef Vanessa's cuisine is very delicate, feminine and refined. The presentations are truly artistic and the food has subtle nuances of light flavors. Some may be turned off by the bookings polices but it was well worth the visit. A amuse bouche of foie gras...More

The food was interesting and delicious and a nice change from traditional Taiwanese food. However it is unnecessarily complex, although beautifully prepared and presented e.g. the reconstructed cherry for dessert.
