Very popular hotpot restaurant chain, covid or not. Even without the tourists, it’s still very busy and reservations are essential. Unlimited duck blood and tofu to go with your ordered items. Good service

It is impossible to eat vegetarian or vegan in this restaurant. Everything is cooked in Chicken broth. The staff's English is not that good so impossible to explain vegetarian to them. Even the ravioli that looked vegetarian on the menu had pork inside them. If...you must eat here because friends have chosen, the only really veggie thing would be raw vegetables (don't cook in the chicken broth), rice and tofu rectangles. There is some soya sauce to go no the rice. Bon appétit ! They kindly provided a doggy bag upon our request because I could not bear to throw away all the leftovers, but I only salvaged the tofu. Probably the rest will be thrown out in a few days.Very wasteful :-( You have to a pay a minimum of TWD 650 per table but then you don't really know what you will end up paying because the menu is confusing.More
This is the first time we visited hot pot restaurant because everyone is recommended this place a must visit for hot pot. We reserved the table ahead of time and having no problem to get our table on time. The waiter explained the menu to...us and very patient to let us take our time to order our foods but forgot to tell us the time is ticking from the minute they placed us. As a result, half way through the dinner, we were told our times is up. He advised us, we can packed remaining food to go but forgot to tell us additional charges will apply. I can understand if the places is fully booked or this is a buffet, but It’s isn't! Why rush your customer if the place is not busy and the restaurant is not a buffet styled??? On our way out, I saw plenty of empty tables and no line up at all. Be ware of this place!!More
Amazing service, great food. The quality of the produce in this restaurant is top notch. Do remember to book!
Service is impeccable despite the language barrier. Hotpot at its best. Make sure to reserve as the place is packed. Your group can stay for 2 hours to enjoy the feast.
We’ve been queue for so long, but it worst to wait. The soup is made super delicious, all the dumpling, paste are the best.
Party of 4, we booked a table and arrived about 10/15 minutes early but they were able to seat us immediately. We opted for the dual/split hotpot and ordered a lot of beef, some seafood, veggies, and udon to finish. I would recommend the scallop...paste which you or the staff can make into meatballs and the chrysanthemum tea. Before the 90minutes were up, the member of staff covering our table brought a refreshing slush as a signal. The staff are attentive and took good care of us. Overall a great dinner.More
1) book in advance or good luck walk in during weekday 2) enjoyed the A5 beef, duck blood (free flow), the ice cream tofu was a special experience (tofu soufflé), tofu (free flow) 3) nice chrysanthemums iced tea 4) walkable distance from my hotel 5)...the 1.5 hr time limit is just right to enjoy for adults, but maybe a bit rush if bring young kids alongMore
Need reservation. Need to be ontime and there is a 90 minute limit. Order the 18 day Taiwan Beer All the seafood are great
Saw reviews about this restaurant on youtube and decided to have a try at lunch during my visit to Taipei in late May this year. As we arrived at 3pm, there was not much people and we got to sit in a 4-people table (we...had 2 people). We ordered beef, lamb, vegetable combo, dumplings, tofu, and fried tofu sheets. For soup base, we chose half spicy and half "white". Advantages: 1. fancy interior design 2. comfortable and spacious seats 3. delicious soup base 4. high quality meat 5. clean Disadvantages: 1. quite pricey 2. small portion for the high price All in all, I would come again if I visit Taipei again ;).More
On the brink of a business trip, me and one of my colleagues were recommended this "traditional restuarant" by the hotel. The food was delicious and the service outstanding! Not that expensive either (obviously depending of your choices of side-dishes though, it certainly can be)...but if you weigh in the exprience, not at all! Traditional Taiwanese "hot pot".More
This was the perfect place to go on a chilly day. The hotpot broth is delicious and the best part is that it comes with unlimited duck blood and tofu skin. The service is excellent and the portion sizes are decent.
If u are tofu lover and visit Taipei, this place is the must visit place for u. When I planned to visit Taipei, I didn't have this place in the list until I talked with my colleagues. She mentioned that this place had soft marshmallow...-like tofu. As tofu lover, I think I have to try so i have it before leaving Taipei. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with the experience here. Only caution is that u need to book the table, particularly for dinner, before visit; otherwise, u would miss the chance to have the meal hereMore
The soup is nice and flavourful, ordering the mix pot is a must. I don’t quite like the ice cream tofu but everything else is so good. Service is nice and I received many offers for take away of the soup, unfortunately we stay at...hotel..Do order the pork belly, prawn. Free refill of duck blood and tofu which are delicious. hence no need to order too many dishes!!!More
