後來心想,肯定有別的門呀! strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Busy waitresses are catching up the order fulfillment. All others has no haste. Time stops momentarily after you enter the narrow door. It’s a renovated house that keeps the old time Tainan mood. Food and drinks are average but you don’t come here for Michelin...More

I went to the Narrow Door Cafe twice during my trip to Tainan (I stayed next door at the CaoJi Book Inn). I was immediately attracted to it by its name and the fact that the alleyway to access the cafe is genuinely narrow, you...More

The hostess is kind and loving to chat if she is free. The coffee has very good tastes. I strongly recommend the lemon ginger coffee. Besides, the coffee house are refreshed from a very old house since around 100 years ago. You can feel a...More

From the tiny crack in the wall to the toilet in the roof garden, the Narrow Door Cafe is a classic experience. The floors are of an old wood that shakes and rattles, the tables are antiques set up against Victorian windows looking out over...More

Minimum spending of 120NTD per person. Specially visited because of the narrow entrance of 38cm. Would have missed it if not for one of the staff who walked in between the two buildings to the cafe. Food is alright, more for the atmosphere and experience

The entrance to the café is really cool, The beverages they serve are to be desired and pricey. There's really no service to mention.

This is the kind of place that made me nostalgic for being a student since it would be perfect for studying (or intending to study with friends but talking for hours instead). I tried the Lei Cha, which is a Hakka traditional beverage served to...More

West Central District/ North District
The West Central District is the most populous and the
busiest area. A lot of shops and hotels crowd the
district, and the long-standing history results in a
variety of street food. In addition to that, this
district also has the highest number of temples. This
is how it got the name “Tainan’s Pantheon.” Historic
buildings are literally ubiquitous. For example,
