This shop gives you a hearty beefy rich bowl of beef noodle soup. I absolutely love the beef noodle soup here. The soup has a rich strong bold taste, very beefy and flavorful. The beef chunk is tasty, and tender. The noodle is chewy (a dante similarity), absorbed with soup flavor. Add some spicy beef fat and you get an unforgettable bowl of noodle. The shop has plenty of seat so you would not have to stand in line to wait for your turn. It can get noisy, a bit chaotic but it's all worthed for the beef noodle bowl. Love it.

This is a small and old beef noodle shop that is open 24 hours a day. No matter when you come here, it is always packed with people. Even if it is crowded, it cannot stop you from coming here to eat beef noodles. Whether it's beef or offal, it's freshly stewed with enough flavor and plenty of portion. You can add butter, white vinegar, black vinegar, etc. to the refreshing soup to enhance the flavor. A small bowl of beef noodles only costs NT$100, and free soda drinks are provided to help relieve the spicy and greasy taste. It is a great value in this era of high prices.

If you're looking for quick service and cheap eats this is your place! This restaurant is open 24 hours and has a limited menu consisting of beef noodle soups. I ordered a regular beef noodle soup in medium size (120 NT). The large is 130 NT, and the small is 110 NT.
The broth was thin but flavorful, and the beef was tender. This reminded me of a non-spicy bun bo hue. Service is quick and they get mad if you refill your water bottle with water. Cash only and there is a toilet for use but no soap.

Service - don’t expect that they speak English. They try to help you. Like many other similar places, you place your order and need to pay immediately.
Food - stick to the beef noodles because those are delicious. Tender beef, salty broth but it worked very well together. With the noodles to complete, yummm. My boyfriend order something else and it simply wasn’t the same.
Atmosphere - a bit chaotic and very local place. Expect sitting with strangers. It was crowded but we did not need to wait. We loved the place.
Location - not at the Main Street but worth it.
Price - for the two of us we paid 180NT$ very fair.
Wifi - probably not.

One of local favorite, came here for breakfast, ordered beef soup, told and pointing with finger but the grandma gimme the soup with noodle. The beef really delicious, the soup also yummy, the noodle too thick and hard to chew. Got free soda and you can refill all you want. Many condiments you can add. The place likes local restaurant, no AC, join table with others, and TV show the local channel.

Went with high expectations. Got the mixed beef noodles. The noodles and meat were good however the broth was little salty for me. Overall it's OK but not worth the long wait.

We visited Taiwan in the spring of 2019 and went to a lot of noodle restaurants--but none of them compared to this place. My wife got the thin noodles with brisket and I went for the thicker ones with beef. There are some great "add-ons" that you can put in the broth as well, but the one we liked best was the orangey butter. Yes, it does up the calorie count, but the taste is so great that you can overlook that.
This is a nondescript, family-run restaurant, and so don't expect anything fancy. But if you really want a taste of the true Taiwanese noodles, then we'd recommend a visit.

We had the large mixed beef noodle soup and it was outstanding. The staff kindly gave us a small bowl when she realised we were sharing. Be sure to add a little bit of the beef fat for a more rounded flavour to the soup, though of course it is already very delicious on its own.
The noodles were done to al dente perfection and the beef was full of flavour. I loved it so much that I kept pestering my friends to go back again :)

This was found through recommendations and we reach there exciting.
Notice when a place is popular the service level deteriorating. This is one disappointment but it's reality . The server was rude to another table which the couple just walk off during order taking.
We took 3 bowls shred by 4 of us. Taste may be good but service will pull down your rating .

Been to Taipei twice, always on the hunt for “the best” beef noodle soup. Went back to this place 3 times, the taste is just out of this world, much better than some of the mainstream famous noodle shops. If you are in the area, make sure you’ll pay them a visit.
Free hint, extra beef costs 50 Taiwan dollar, to me absolutely worth it 😅

First day in Taiwan and we wanted to try some local food! This did not disappoint. Someone who spoke enough English to take our order came and asked if we wanted small, medium, or large with small or big noodles. Food came fast and the sauces and condiments provided on the table were great. We also took some side dishes out of the fridge; the pickled cucumbers were really good. All super cheap too. Would definitely recommend!

I look up TripAdvisor to find the closest beef noodle place from where I was staying in Ximen. Fuhong's name pop up and I started reading the review . I liked what I read so I told my family that's where we were headed. I did not look at the picture on TA . I just pressed google map for direction . It was just a little out of the pedestrian place in Ximending . A little bit away from the crowd . When we got to the place . We were confused because the name of the store is not written in English. But google map said we have reached our destination. We did not like the look of the eatery from the outside . We did a u turn and went to the side so I can look at the picture on TA to confirm that we were actually in the right place. My teenage kids said they dont want to eat there and that they dont want to go in. Just then a lady approach us and started talking to us in English asking if we wanted some beef noodle soup. She proceeded to tell us that the two store front are run by the same owner . Encourage by her I told my family to be adventurous and give the place a try . I am so glad we did. The beef noodle soup was serve piping hot , very tasty soup , several pieces of soft beef chunks and just the right chewy consistency to the noodles . We totally forgot about the not so nice setting and just enjoyed the food. If we have just passed by the place on the street I would have not considered eating in Fuhong. Thanks to TA reviewer , we were able to test one of the tastiest beef noodle soup Taipei has to offer.
I give it a 5 for taste and a 2-3 for setting.

Touted as the national dish of Taiwan, I had to try find the best Beef Noodles in Taipei. I wanted something authentic, which the locals love.
I wasn't disappointed at Fuhong, which was on the outskirts of Ximending. The soup was awesomely rich and yummy without MSG, and the homemade noodles were so smooth. Beef was tender and delicious as well, and it costs TW$90, roughly S$4.
They even offer a free drink for every bowl of noodles you order. No wonder that the place was packed with locals and tourists, and it opens 24 hrs daily.
好多家牛肉面，但富宏牛肉面可算是数一数二的.真的不负众望，他们的牛肉，汤，与面都煮得很棒！
