Place is very good located and provide wide choice self cooking food. This is not the first restaurant we try and found Mala Yuanyang good for us. Usually this place is busy by the locals, and if you want table - you better to make...a reservation first. Food was good and enough for the price we paid.More

The tourist friendly Mala Yuanyang Hot Pot was our pick to try Taiwanese hot pot. For about 30 dollars not only do you get unlimited meat and veggies to go with the two broth of your choice, but also included unlimited booze and ice cream....The meat quality was decent and service was efficient if not friendly. There is a two hour time limit but it was plenty of time.More

This is out second time visit to the restaurant and we are so lucky that we could have a table without reservation. This restaurant has few branches and most of them are always fully booked especially at dinner time. Delicious food. Their Mala and Vegetable...soups are the most favorite ones.More

The steamboat is affordable, with freeflow meat (including beef!), vegetables, seafood, drinks, desserts, etc. Will recommend the vegetable energy soup and herbal chicken soup for travellers who are unable to take spicy soup base. The flavour selections for the freeflow Haagen Dazs and Movenpick ice...cream do not disappoint.More

As base soups, we chose 1)Spicy soup and 2) Vegetable Energy soup. We thoroughly enjoyed these and would recommend the soup combo. Then, came an endless barrage of delicious meat and seafood treats. We tried all the beef in the menu, and paired them with...all the shrimp/prawns in the menu. Save for the orange prawns, we enjoyed all of them. Round 2, we chose scallops and sea bass and paired it with japanese pork and angus beef. The mushrooms and the vegetables are likewise good but to our surprise we thoroughly enjoyed the meatballs (squid balls are our fave). I have severe lactose intolerance so I am happy that they have a couple of Haagen Dazs sorbets to enjoy - perfect way to end our dinner adventure.More

My friends see the Mala Hotpot from trip advisor, and they take me to try it becuz top star reviews. We didn’t reserve a table so its not too long time to get a table. The restaurant have biggest appetites and many foods and drinks...selection: pork, beef, lamp etc. but I don’t believe that the dessert is Haagen Dazs and free flow beer. I think we did’t pay much (5 pax 3495 NTD/2 hrs)but got hight quality foods and drinks. We can not speak Chinese but staff try to explain me about details. Thank you for taking care of us. Hight recommendation! This Mala Hotpot is very much visit in Taipei. It not disappointed!More
