Overrated place. First of all, don't even visit this place during daytime because you won't be able to get what everyone else is looking for, the view from the roof top. The tea set cost $300 per person and I thought that was very expensive....More

We heard loads about this tea house that they say inspired Spirited Away, both good and bad so we weren’t sure what to expect. We loved it. It could’ve helped that we arrived after sundown and after the throngs of tourists had already left. The...More

Tourist-magnet place but I visited the place during the night as I was staying a night in Jiufen .. the night view is just dull nowadays ... overpriced tea meals and it doesn't felt value for money afterall ...

You won’t miss the entrance of this tea house as it’s main spot in Jiufeng to take good pictures of the red lanterns hanging in the air. The price of afternoon tea is reasonable. It comes with a cup of tea and a piece of...More

After walking around the old street of Jiufen, its great to sit and rest at the tea house. They serve great tea with a view. On our visit, it was drizzling. A bit wet and cold. Makes the tea much better.

Best view? Depends on where they arrange your seat. You can choose from a la carte or set meal, but feel like a bit of ripped off. NT$300 per person of a tea set meal. Overall, 3 out of 5. There is more coffee shop...More

Our guide Jimmy brought us to this relic of a tea house - it is a mini museum cum tea house. It has a collection of various tea cups used in a tea ceremony. There is also a small pond where koi fishes swim about....More

A tourist spot with a good view of Jiufen. It is crowded in the late afternoon and evening and packed with tourists. The tea set is also very expensive. Suggest going there very early in the morning for tea appreciation- the service staff will demonstrate...More

of its glorious past through the Golden Waterfall.
