Stayed here for a couple of nights with friends so that we could go surfing. Staff were friendly and helpful, though the 小幫手could be maybe better briefed on the rooms. But other wise it was a decent stay 👍 location wise, it’s a bit far...from the beach, but still walkable. There’s also a bubble tea shop right beside and a fried chicken shop across the street. Also walkable to both 7-11 and family mart.More

spent 3 nights/4 days at WGLG. I'm a SUP surfer who was looking for a surfshop/guide in Taiwan that work with SUP surfers. Glad I found Marc's WGLG. Marc the owner is a personable surf guide who took me and my sister to the nearby...local surf spot. The reef break offered some pretty good SUP surfing rides. Currently they have two SUP boards for rent. I like the vibe of the place - get to hang out with travelers from all around the world. Do note that this is hostel - while the rooms are pretty nice/clean, the hostel/bar/restaurent is located right on the local main street. Bathrooms are shared. It's very economical. So if you decide to bunk there, do so with proper expectation.More

I ordered handmade pasta, it looks cool but not much flavour, I ask for some cheese and that comes with an extra charge of 50NTD. Not the worse thing I've ever try but not good value at all(like a lot of things in this town).

I tried to get dinner there twice but I was unlucky. The first night food was finished and the second night bar and restaurant were closed but they allowed us to bring our own stuff. It is great to meet other travellers and book excellent...surf lessons (with Mark, one of the owners).More

We really enjoyed our stay in Wagaligong! A cosy place with easy going and very helpfull staff. We could get our surfing equipment and they gave us a ride to the beach. We also rented a scooter next door to explore the area. It's 10min...walking to the beach and the busstation and a little shoppingstore are close. All you need! Thanks Mark and team!More

They do not produce Taiwanese local atmosphere, it is like global place to meet people fro all over the world. The guests are talking in English, German, Chinese, Korean, etc. The menu are also western style, burgers, pizza, etc. It is certainly nice place for...all cosmopolitans!More

This place is probably the best in Dulan/Taitung. The atmosphere is great and everybody is kind. They offer good burgers and toppings can be added for little money. They were really tasty! One burger was around 220NTD. Price is not the cheapest but totally worth...to pay. Besides the good food this store offers beds and surfing lessons. The next day we got Marc as teacher and he explained really well the basics of surfing. We began with theory and after 1h we found ourselves in the water to practice. I planned to stay a couple of nights and ended up staying for 12. Really nice atmosphere, easy access to surf with staff on hand to take you and your board down. Lovely town to chill and relax in, not to far from Taidong

This is the nicest bar in Dulan . It has a couple of comfortable sofas to relax and drink beer on . They serve some good quality pizza , and some other good quality food . I've enjoyed all my meals here , and it's...a nice place to relax after an evening at the beach .More

Service is really good, although sometimes they do not offer all the dishes in the menu. Food is fresh, which you can taste. Portions are generous and the atmosphere is very comfortable!

The French chef makes very good food that contrasts with what you can find in the village! The pizza's are good too. Good ambiance in the restaurant, free wifi available too.
