Good service, lovely surroundings, but no excuse for serving stale inedible scones. Also no choice of scones, just given a fruit one. May not have noticed if I had eaten straight away as it was reheated but when cool it was like a rock.

We had the most delicious brunch here today with my family. Eggy Crumpet with bacon, maple, syrup and tomato, and bacon ciabatta. Took home some of the the amazing cakes to have for tea at home. Wonderful friendly service , where nothing is too much trouble.

I took my mother in law for brunch and forgot how good the portions are! We both ordered sensibly to leave room for cake, 1 breakfast, 1 pancakes and then struggled to get through a piece of cake between us! Don't get to go here as often as I used to but it's still a great place to eat, very... More

Super place. Lovely cake and coffee. Loads of choice of home made goodies and some retail therapy to boot! Friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Went today with my friend and sister wasn't sure what to expect as I had been told the owner can be a little rude, but I need not have worried we met Jane and she was very nice and ended up having quite a laugh with her. The cakes were lovely and the staff work really hard.

Prices are very extortionate, tiny portions and not much choice. Not somewhere to go if you are hungry. Service with a frown. Feel conned

A lovely tea room, with the added benefit of a delightful country crafts and quirky gift shop at the front. Clean and contemporary design, with a beautiful small garden area at the rear. Booking is advisable as it can get very busy. The menu is wonderful, as it is unconventionally different! It offers a variety of freshly prepared food, and... More

We had the cream tea plus, sandwiches, scones and cakes. All delicious, took 4 cakes home. Lovely shop with interesting items. Bought earrings and gifts - all interesting and unusual gifts. Busy hence a little noisy but otherwise delightful
