Stopped here on our way down from the church. Lovely old world tea room with lovely choice of cakes. I had the cream tea with a choice of plain, fruit or cherry scone. I chose cherry. The tea arrived with the scone fresh out of the oven. Delicious!

Sat outside back of premise in the small court yard on a sunny day. Had the cream tea for two which was the best I've had outside Devon, with a variety of massive scones, strawberry jam, butter and 'real' clotted cream! All served up in bone china crockery with a tea strainer for the loose tea in the pot. Very... More

I can't praise this tea shop enough, staff are amazing as is the warm welcome you receive on entering. All cakes are homemade and worth a day off from the diet. Tea comes in China cups with strainers-no tea bags here. The teapot is huge so relax, sit back and enjoy yourself. Serve lunch too . Mix with the locals... More

We often visit and Sam always welcomes us, as with all customers with joy, friendliness and kindness. WOW! today's treat Spicy chicken on hand of superior bread topped with copious amounts of grilled cheese was special, followed by scones of the lightest texture, cream and speciality jams. Do try the hot chocolate, it's divine. Thank you

We stumbled across this little tearoom by complete accident. It was absolutely packed inside, but we managed to get a table outside in the garden. The customer service is fantastic. The waiters/waitresses all explained how busy it was and kept an eye on us to make sure we were ok with a slight wait. The food was great...just wonderful. I... More

What a lovely welcome and a great morning tea stop. Really good range of loose leaf teas and the girls loved the hot chocolate. Well worth a visit, a really cute old world tea shop with lovely ladies running it.

A friendly greeting as we walked in, a lovely little old fashioned English tea room with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were cheerful, the service very good and the food excellent. We liked it very much and will go out of our way to call in again. A tour of the black and white village of Pembridge is a lovely... More

Met a friend for lunch, brilliant atmosphere, gorgeous food, with attentive, very friendly service We both had sandwiches served with delicious fresh salads and vegetable chips The cakes looked absolutely delicious, and naughty, but managed to resist, but will be returning very soon to sample (terrible task, but all in the name of research!!) Well worth a visit
