On Vacation from Texas, we decided to stop for lunch here with no expectations. What a nice place with wonderful staff and great food. Being from out of country, we immediately felt welcomed. Danielle was super friendly, with wonderful personality, made sure our visit was perfect. She was great. I highly recommend a stop here for anyone traveling. You won't... More

Although there was 8 of us for lunch we were seated without a hassle and didn't have a long wait for food to arrive. Food is fresh, homemade, good value for money and a very generous portion size. And of course you've got to leave space for one of the homemade cakes! Will definitely be back

Great snack, a scone or bacon roll, meal always good, hot and quick, reasonable priced. The shop is great also for a good gift or 2. I rate this shop and restaurant better that The House of Bruar. Very clean, toilets always immaculate. Great little whisky shop, all round a great little experience. We always stop in when we ware passing... More

Dropped in on our way home ,plenty of parking .What a nice place with a large shop with quality clothing ,a spirit shop with a good range of whiskys ,a gift shop and a delicatessen with a huge range of cheese. Quite a busy restaurant just of the main trunk road . Nice seating with a view and a good... More

The A9 road from Perth to Inverness offers almost nothing in terms of roadside services. There's certainly no roadside petrol or toilets and if you want food you have to be prepared to leave the carriageway altogether. Fortunately there are a few places where it's worth a short detour. Taste Perthshire at Bankfoot, just north of Perth, is the best... More

I visited today along with 16 other woman to celebrate my sister's upcoming baby. I had enquired and booked in advance and all correspondence prior to the day was helpful, timely and friendly. The afternoon tea itself today was absolutly amazing. Could not fault it. Cakes were wonderful, sandwiches were varied and very tasty on lovely soft bread. And the... More

We pulled off the A9 at Bankfoot to have some lunch. There is a brown tourist sign for Perthshire Visitors Centre, which we have often passed on our travels and wondered if it was worth a visit. It certainly is! A huge car park with grass verges to walk the dogs, tourist information stands, whisky, clothes, provisions and gift shops... More

Good wholesome food, friendly and cheerful staff, truly excellent coffee, fast service. This is not just a stop on the A9 but a destination visit.

Always stop here on route to Edinburgh or Glasgow and have never been disappointed yet. The food is always good, I love the chicken burger, and the service efficient with a smile and pleasant chat. It seems to serve a lot of locals too, I'm not surprised given the quality and value for money. Would recommend.
