Had Sunday lunch with a group of friends. The food was generally pretty average but the yorkshires were truly terrible - dense and stodgy. The sticky toffee pudding was luke warm. Overpriced for the quality of the food.

I went with some friends on Friday night. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The bar staff recommended a very suitable gin! Thank you! Food was delicious and very well presented. The level of service was just right, attentive but not overly fussy. We...More

Lovely pub with rooms. Went to a small wedding, atmosphere great, food magic, service impeccable. Rooms were lovely, as they should have been at the price we paid.

A wonderful venue for a drink in the garden or inside in the low-beamed historic setting. (Mind your head though!). Food is excellent. Well worth a visit in this quiet countryside setting.

We went for lunch on a Saturday. Our food was good quality, nicely presented and generous—certainly a gastropub. The wine list was limited but better than average quality. The venison special and cheese courses were excellent as was the attentive and friendly service. The only...More

Lunch today was an OK experience.. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was served on gorgeous artisan bread but in all honesty the pork tasted and looked like tuna! It might be that the pork was raised on omega 3 something but did not...More
