I was very happy in choosing the restaurant. The service provided by Wartika was great, with suggestions of dishes, drinks and dessert. The grilled dough was perfect, with the exact amount of spice. The mojito was great and the snickers dessert a delight. I urge everyone who comes to Nusa Penida to meet.

This is the best location on Penida Island. From breakfast, lunch to dinner & also live music. The food was exceptional every time, and staff are very well trained & attentive to customers needs.
This is the only place we have seen that has a sustainability initiative in place, for rubbish collection on the island. The rubbish here is the one thing that could ruin Penidas future so it is so pleasing to see they are aware of that and starting to make a difference - thank you!!

We had an amazing night in Penida Colada! The food was really good, our waitress Laksmi was really friendly, smiley, helpful and organised a very cute attention for my friend's birthday. The live music was very nice and after dinner everybody came together on the dancefloor to share a beautiful moment in music. We recommend this place 100% and will definitely come back!

Bof! When we arrive a waitress places us on a table glued to the kitchen. I ask her if it is possible to get closer to the sea because a table has just become available... she replies that it is a table for two when there are four of us. Two minutes later, four people show up and they sit on the famous table for two!
Grilled shrimp and grilled fish were both covered with a sweet and sour sauce that spoiled the taste a little.
The Greek salads taken by my daughters were correct but no more.
However, the band playing live was pretty good.

The cafe looks great inside and out, the view was really a dream!
The food itself was very tasty, but we found the portions to be very small and the high prices a bit too much. We have already been to other places and they were much cheaper :) and we had to wait 45 minutes for our food in a pretty empty shop..

A fair size place and on sea front for those that like sunsets and people watch.
Happy hour cocktails 2-1 were a little without alcohol.
Tables varied so try to book ( a must ) on deck area.
We found over four visits the food average and some time’s bland. Cauliflower wings were tasty but tuna was dry and tasteless.
Service was a bit hit and miss and busy after 6pm. We booked each time thinking it was vacate tables after 2hrs.
But our last visit we got there early and ate and drunk a fair bit before band started and were asked to vacate table as we had no drinks on it.. this after 70 minutes.
We thought we would listen to the band and have a drink later so were surprised and decided this wad our 4th and final visit.

I want to clarify that I spoke with you that evening, which stood out to me as it was Indonesia's Independence Day, and we were delighted to share free tasters of our traditional Indonesian dessert, “bubur injin,” with you.
While it may have felt like a short time, our records indicate that you dined with us well into the second set of the band, extending beyond the two-hour reservation limit agreed upon in the online reservation process.
Our team checked in with you several times about additional desserts and drinks, and you mentioned you were finished ordering.
If we had known you wished to stay longer, we would have done our best to accommodate you, as we’re happy to make exceptions for special occasions when informed in advance.

I love this place so much! The people working there are so kind, very arranging and so flexible (I was on a quite restrictive diet and they adapted the meals, thank you so much) and the food was delicious. Beautiful location as well and you can go straight to the sea with a fresh shower when you come back. I will definitely come back when I'm back to Nusa Penida!

We visited Penida Colada after a diving trip and being recommended by our tour guide and it was an excellent recommendation. We are vegan and found multiple great options on their menu to choose from, including desserts. The service is good and the food is great. The location and setting are spectacular.

This is the best place in the North of Nusa Penida to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or just enjoy a drink on the beachfront. The place is very modern and high quality: this place is very clean and has high standards compared to other places on the island, high quality food with focus on fruit and veggies (bowls) but also meat and fish, the waiters are very friendly and you can pay by card without extra charges which is also not possible everywhere. A lot of international travellers from all over the world enjoy the beach vibes here, sometimes there is live music.

They told is us they were out of still and sparkling water. I don’t get how a restaurant can get out of still water?
the food was so bland and not very tasty and compared to the price it was not worth it. The prices were way to high and they could not live up to their standard.
We ended up not eating the majority of food due to lack of taste, too much oil and overcooked prawns and some shrimp not prepared properly (still with shell on).
We had to have a second dinner another place.
Don’t go there. Not worth it.

I understand we really let you down and I'm grateful you gave me the opportunity to ask some more detailed questions so that we could effectively address the issues you raised. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced during your visit.
We understand your concerns about the unavailability of bottled still and sparkling water. We always make filtered water available for free for all guests. As per our commitment to environmental sustainability we don't sell, have never sold, and will never sell plastic bottled water. Unfortunately our supplier of bottled Balian spring water from Bali mainland has been unable to meet the spike in demand this month and so we have sourced an alternative supplier of ethical packaged water.
Your feedback regarding the preparation of the prawns has been shared with our kitchen staff to ensure we are maintinjng consistency in the taste and quality of our dishes.
We deeply regret that you had to seek an alternative dining option elsewhere and so I am glad we were able to arrange a refund for the dishes you didn't eat. It is never our intention to leave our guests unsatisfied.
We hope to have the chance to restore your confidence in our restaurant. We will be sure to make your next visit a truly enjoyable one.

The place is very nice, by the sea, with amazing views. The food very well prepared and very delicious. We had a problem with the card charge and were pending to fix it at all times. It is certainly a highly recommended place to dine or eat, or just have a relaxed cocktail by the sea

The food was absolutely amazing. We shared soto Ayum, satay Ayum, grilled fish, fish curry, bruschetta and prawn rice paper rolls.
Sadly the spicy marg isn't like home and is my fav drink. Apart from that it was beautiful.
Looks wonderful, staff are lovely, Landark was a very kind man.
Live music was fantastic.

Loved this place so much we ended up returning 3 times. The food was great and nourishing. I recommend the green goddess bowl. The cassava fries are super heavy and filling, perfect after a day of diving. The staff managed to accommodate allergies really well. The service is slow, so we ordering something right when we sat down, then took time to look at the menu.

It is certainly no wonder that Penida Colada is the absolute favorite place of all visitors to Nusa Penida! Once you step into this beach bar you will undoubtedly be forever enchanted by the beautiful atmosphere, interior design, view, food, to name just a few. Penida Colada is one of those places that make you want to teleport to the site after you see a picture only. It is one of those impressions that become a trademark of a place, a synonym for island vibes and chill outs in a beautiful ambience by the sea. Whether you come for breakfast, decide to spend the day by the sea or come for dinner, the experience is equally pleasant. While I can only talk about the vegan menu, perhaps it is precisely the quality and choice of vegan food that makes this place exceptional for yet another degree more. Whether you opt for a full meal such as tempe burger or a snack such as fried cassava with an excellent selection of detox juices, and all that for the quite decent prices, you will certainly not be disappointed. The only problem in the whole story is deciding to get up and leave this place or skip it for one day and not to drop by at least for a coffee, dessert or fruit juice.
