After driving almost an hour from Nicosia we reached the place. the landscape was nice however the food was so average. It was a buffet with different kind of salad and variety of foods. The starters and the salads were tasty however the main dishes...were so average that we were disappointed. The wine does not have any character too not my favorite. The desert was just ok. We paid around 20 eur per person including a glass of wine. I do not recommend.. better places exist.More

Excellent service, beautiful view, good food & wine. We order meet platter, that was ok, the meat from the pork chop it was very bad, but the rest of the food was very nice. The seftalia ( Cypriot traditional meatballs) was super delicious.eggplant salad as...well. There is also a wine collection for all the taste. You can try and later buy also a wine from there. The staff was very polite and very friendly. We will definitely visit this place again.More

We went for the view and the food, not disappointed at all. The buffet was a good choice, cheaper price for the kids, and variety of choices. Food was really good quality, salads were also amazing. The view is breathtaking, a very nice location, but...difficult to get a good table with view. Small playground for young kids, road/location a bit difficult to get around.More

The restaurant is located within the Santa Irene winery which gives you the opportunity to also book a wine tasting tour. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food delicious. There are also some vegetarian options (the falafel and potatoes are very tasty). The...location is great and the view from the restaurant is beautiful. There are also tables close to the fireplace in winter. It is also recommended for business workshops as it has a conference room area on the first floor with a projector and private terrace with a lovely view. The pastries provided to us during breaks were also delicious.More

We were given the opportunity to taste their wines, red, rose, white. Also tried their cider, zivania and pomengrade juice as part of the tour with Mr Daniel. The winery tour and the briefing by Daniel is one of a kind. The food was delicious...and the prices very reasonable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a must visit place if you are into wine tasting and mountain road trips in Cyprus.More

We actually went first time on the 15th August which as most know is a very busy day for Restaurants in Cyprus due to it being a public holiday. We were recommended this unknown gem and were so glad we went! It is a lovely...venue in idyllic and peaceful surroundings with a lovely view whilst dining. The food was a buffet this particular day and we all enjoyed our meal very much. The desserts were plentiful with something for everyone and the wine tasting was an unexpected addition. We would definately return adnwere so glad to have found it. Outside there is a little playground and I think it is a nice area to walk although we didn't on this particular day.More

I was there as guest for an evening christening celebration. The place is just outside Farmakas village. It was a great time of the year to visit and get the opportunity to see the surrounding vineyards. The restaurant basically sits on top of the Santa...Irene winery, you get to see the equipment below through restaurant windows. For a place that is located out of the way in the highlands it has a modern spacious interior. this also reflects on the quality of the food. The traditional vine leaves stuffed with rice, meat and herbs where delicious and the lemon chicken with oriental overtones was a great surprise taste. At Ierambelos you can have a go at a range of wines from Cypriot wine varieties from the Santa Irene winery. For white wine the "Xynistery" is the most common. (We had one bottle of Vounoplagia). For red wine the "Mavro" is the common variety (had a bottle of Protari). Friends recommended a white wine made from red grapes ("Mavro") called Daniel. To be tested next time hopefully.More

Family outing demanded something special. My sister suggested Ierambelos and we visited this place for lunch buffet. This is one of those secret gems you discover far from the city centres and Farmakas is not a village many visit. Place is huge, with the restaurant...on top of the winery and the processing centre next to it. Place was full so a reservation is a must! It was a public holiday and fasting demanded fish so the menu had probably 20% meat. Not much of a quantity in dishes but everything was cooked to taste. Of course a bottle of their wine is a must and we tried Laxia but after the wine tour we realised it wasn't the ideal wine for the occasion. Waitress had little knowledge about the wines which is odd for a place like this. Be sure to stay for the wine tour and tasting after your meal. Will visit again for sure!More
