Great place deserves superb recognition the best food place on the S7 road from Krakow to Zakopane , traditional Polish food served , generous portions and amazing atmosphere also people are super friendly here
Every year when I’m going to Zakopane with my family I stop in Wilczy Glod, and I’ve never been disappointed. Good food, typical polish with huge portion( consider to take soup and something else, it’s better to take only one thing).
Myself and my partner we love discovering new places. Wilczy Glod was recommended by my partner cousin. I'm so glad that we choose this restaurant. It is hidden gem 💎 half an hour driving 🚘 from beautiful Krakow. Wilczy Glod baking own bread, which is...simply amazing. It is served before your order will arrive, with delicious lard( home made by them with Apple, one of the indigrents, rest is a big secret). Food was excellent. They also offering fresh juices. We were very impressed with everything. Definitely we will come back here :-)More
We were driving to Zakopane and my sister recommended this restaurant. Just three letters, WOW! Food is so amazing, everything is done by themselves and some of the reviews are saying that the pricing is pretty high, but I wouldn't say so comparing it to...the others restaurants in the old town in Cracow. Worth to go there, definitely.More
I'll be as specific as I can.
Mulled beer was just a microwaved pint of lager. No spices. Served in glass. Somehow 33% more expensive.
Pepsi cola tasted like the cheapest fake cola available in Poland.
Tomato soup looked like someone forgot to sieve it....Bits of tomato skin in it. Pasta in it seemed like it was a mix of fresh and old, stale one.
Tripe soup was perfect. Spot on.
Żurek was very tasty, but the sausage included made my brother feel bad for the rest of the day.
I had beef tongues, tasty and good but not properly cleaned.
Park shoulder my mom had wasn't stewed till soft but just fried what made it hard, difficult to chew and just unpleasant.
Stuffed and breaded pork chop of my brother's was a bit undercooked. Pink rare meat in the middle.
I'm my fiancées duck breast served on apple she found a stem. Meat was dry.More
