Good breakfast, but terrible dinner menu. The steak dish we ordered was inedible. Service is great but slow.

Hello from Ratměřice, thank you very much for your review. We are glad you liked our breakfast. I am sorry to hear that the dinner was not according your expectations. We will do our best to get better. Wish you a nice day. Martina

I enjoyed both the food and the (all female) service very much. Fancy food but nothing stiff or pretentious about this restaurant. While I was sitting outside enjoying my huge dessert and a couple of drinks (and later dinner), I felt like if the time...literally stopped and all the stress disappeared. What a lovely experience. I just wish both the hotel and the restaurant offered e-gift cards. Amazing homemade ice-tea.More

If you are looking for a relaxing place during summer time. This is the great choice. Even with small kids - nice outdoor play area. Nice stuff and good food. You can see the place was done with care and love. Beautiful park surrounds it.

Restaurant Sequoia was positive surprise to visit and see beautiful style outside Prague. All the meals we ordered were presented in incredible taste, style and well sized portions. Respect to the chef :) We recommend it to everyone and wish the restaurant to continue such...brilliant concept and extraordinary service. A special thanks to the manager for small tour around the chateau. Step & ErikMore

Sequoia belongs to a hotel complex Zámek Ratměřice, but it's really worthy to visit it only for a dinner or lunch itself. As I've already written to a review for the whole hotel, their chief must be a magician, because food was extremely delicious and...well combined. Their staff is very attentive, mainly mr. Stanislav, who stayed with us 3 hours after closing hours. And he even helped us to fix one of our cars. Very appreciated! PS: Try Sirlion Cap and for a dessert Rasperry Mousse!More

Visited the Sequoia for lunch and it did not disappoint. The food was consistently delicious, as well as a visual treat. Staff were friendly and approachable. A special thank to Stanislav, whose service was both faultless and friendly. Having a gluten allergy, they were able...to accommodate us in a professional and knowledgeable way and all food was ample. Will definitely visit again when my wallet has recovered.More

This place is hidden in between the city of Benešof and the mystical mountain of Blaník. From Prague it took us easy fifty minutes of nice countryside driving. When you enter the first gate to the Chateaux delicately made parking lot in between the trees,...you immediately feel the presence of something different, something mysterious, something special. Up un entering the main gate you all of a sudden see the marvelous Chateaux, the lake and the hundreds or maybe thousands of threes surrounding your presence. We stayed there for two night's with my wife and ours seven year old sun. The rooms are really well decorated and comfortable. With heavy velvet curtains, a pro hygiene facilities and spacious living room with large screen TV, fast free Internet and a view, well.. like from a chateaux room. The hallways have huge crystal chandeliers and some amazing antiques decorating the place non invasive, but rather warmly, peacefully and calmly.. That is what we were looking for. I honestly don't know, why the other revives are so different from our experience, but we had one weekend that we will remember for ever. All the staff were kind to us and the restaurant workers quite well. All of the food was very tasty and well served. OK. Its maybe a bit priceyer then your average weekend out, but its well worth it. The qualitz vs the cash well make up for the extra few bucks. We used their wooden sauna, Jacuzzi, and hot benches, totally free of charge. Our son was happy at the children playground and we loved the picnic basket we purchased in the restaurant to enjoy our self's in the amazing park grounds.. After all, this was one of the best places the we have ever visited on our adventure trips. You can see some small details that still needs to be solved, like still fresh growing grass, and a few workers finishing the final touches of this gem, but that did not bother us at all and we will definitely return to this unique and with the right touch reconstructed Chateaux. Thank you for a great time and service. We will be back.More

Food is average quality, main courses come with tiny side dish so you will probably end up ordering all 3 courses (or more). My artichokes were unfortunately inedible as the leaves were so tough. Fresh juice was not nice at all, clearly made of inferior...oranges. They do have wonderful chocolate ice cream and nice cracling spread though. No honey available during breakfast - they ran out! One waiter was not friendly, fortunately we were mostly served by his more enthusiastic colleague. In any case, the service is frustratingly slow as the place seems understaffed. No baby changing facilities.More

Restaurant set in a beautiful location of a newly renovated chateau. Very nice menu, splendid food, good wines - combination quite hard to find in a Czech countryside. The service is keen and polite. The place offers kid's playground near the terrace, so kids can...have fun while you are enjoying a glass of wine.More
