The Chef at Bosebuck has got the Prime Rib on Saturday nights dialed in. Four guys at the table next to me stated that it’s the best they’ve had and look forward to their weekend sledding knowing that really it’s all about the Food. If...you’ve not been out to Bosebuck, you really should try it. It’s a bit remote but, the 14 mile drive out to the camps is on Parmacheenie Road and very well maintained. Gotta call for dinner reservation. Enjoy!!!More

This 3-day trip to Bosebuck Mountain Camps was a birthday present for my husband. he loved it - before we were out of their driveway heading home, he asked “when are we coming back?”. The food was delicious home-cooking. Wendy, the owner with her husband...Mike, was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend eating & staying here. I would have stayed several more days if not for a prior work commitment. We will be telling all our friends about Bosebuck & recommend they go stay there!More

After being introduced to this remote hunting / fishing camp several years ago, it has become my last stop out of Maine at summers end. Wendy and Mike will have owned and operated Bosebuck for 12 years as of Dec 19th. It’s bear season now...followed by bird season October first. Fall fishing is at its finest up here as Bosebuck has access to some of the best fishing that Maine has to offer. Being off grid here is an experience like no other. My cabin, #4, was cozy with a wood stove, a fire pit out front and full indoor bathroom. All cabins are original except for one. They either were towed here on the lake or slid here during winter months frozen Aziscohos lake. Food at Bosebuck is awesome. Cabin guest meals are included but locals will drive an hour to eat here. Some people boat in as well. Until next time, thank you Bosebuck for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.More

The setting is absolutely peaceful, quiet lake and even Loons. The food was phenomenal, from filet mignon to prime rib to barbecue night and the lodging was exactly as I expected it would be. We came back to our camp each evening with a fire...going in the wood stove and the cabin warm. Great place, great hospitality and great food.More

We usually try to visit BoseBuck at least once a summer, to paddle the "quiet" end of the lake and eat some really good food. Once again, Wendy, Mike and staff did not disappoint! As a 50th wedding gift to ourselves, we brought our 2 teenaged grandchildren and their mother with us for our annual visit to Bosebuck. When asked if this trip was what he expected, our 16 year old grandson said "It's more than I expected!" Loons,...Bald Eagles, Landlocked Salmon, Brook Trout, spectacular views, kayaking, comfortable cabins, wonderful meals and very friendly, warm camp owners Mike and Wendy. The list could go on and on. The kids were never bored and thought the lake was gorgeous. Our granddaughter brought her paints and the view of the lake was a wonderful inspiration for her. No TV or cell service but our grandkids didn't seem to notice. The kayaking was a lot of fun. Hint: don't take the blue kayak out on the lake. It's a river kayak and doesn't handle well on lake water. Mike's breakfast pancakes are legendary. Our grandson thought he'd start with 2 but was advised to start with just 1. As the pancake goes from plate edge to plate edge, 1 was more than enough for John. Chef Derek's meals in the evening were absolutely some of the best food we had on our trip. The Shrimp kabobs were a real hit. Desserts are always very good, thanks to Wendy. We can't say enough good things about Mike and Wendy. They are always working hard to make sure everyone has a good experience. That is one reason we have been returning year after year. We will be back in 2019.More

We booked at the last minute when our fishing trip to NB got cancelled at the last minute. We were happy to find a cabin at Bosebuck camps and discover it is one of the best real Maine lodges. It is in an absolutely beautiful...setting, remote but with all the amenities. The cabins were comfortable and clean. The fishing was the best part. We had access to remote areas of the Magalloway river that provided some great fishing. But Mike and Wendy went out of their way to make sure we had a great trip. They helped us to get a flat fixed by their maintenance guy and then providing a radio when we fished without a spare. They packed early breakfast and lunch so we could get an early start. The food was amazing with a fantastic chef but be careful not to order 3 of Mike's pancakes unless you plan not to eat lunch that day! Overall I would recommend this to anyone who wants a real get away with some added comforts. We will be back!More

Bosebuck Mtn Camps has brought on Chef Derek to the team. Chef is bringing the menu to a different level of food experience. Such as tonight’s sea scallop or the roasted tenderloin. Don’t worry, the historic 100 year old lodge setting is very much preserved....A combination that is deliciously welcoming after a long day of fishing, hunting or hiking or simply relaxing. Wendy and Mike are dedicated to keeping the old traditions going but realize small changes are good to keep it fresh and new. Return guests and new ones are in for a tasteful experience this summer season. Great job to the Bosebuck Team!! 👍👍👍👍👍More

We stopped for two nights just after the close of fishing season. As would be expected, the site was quiet, the cabins were ready for us and the host was pleasantly welcoming. All meals, including sack lunches, were ready on time and delicious. The wood...box was well stocked and the rooms clean and orderly. The hot water supply and bathroom heater met all our needs.
