We stopped by after dinner and had drinks on July 4th. We watched the fireworks from their outside dock. One of the only places to see fireworks on July 4th! Great Hurricane drinks!

Our foursome found ourselves at the Dockside Monday after a hot day at the beach! Hoping for a laid back, no-stress atmosphere for dinner, we found it! Dockside is on one hand a real dive bar with pool tables and a juke box, but is...More

First, it's unpretentious and probably better labeled a 'dive'. But..... the location right on the water is awesome. Food is pretty darn good, but not "great" (fyi.... if you want "great" food, head to Charleston cuz you ain't finding it on Edisto). Service, in the...More

We got take out. I ordered blackened fish. It was not edible. The texture was that of mashed potatoes. My daughter had wings which were chewy as if they had been microwaved. Certainly not fresh. My husband had fish and chips with battered fish. The...More

Probably was great in its heyday. $22 seafood platter was mostly French fries with a piece of fish and a very few shrimp. Oyster appetizer overcooked. Positives: Great view of the waterway on the deck. Good service.

Sorry you were not satisfied, what day and time were you at Dockside? Also, who was your server, and what was the explanation from the server on why it took so long?
