The Governor’s House is one of many pubs near to us but it is by far our favourite! Staff are really friendly and welcoming.

Paid a visit to Governors house recently and could not find fault. Great selection of Beers,Gins,Wines and Spirits. The bar itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas which gave the whole place a nice warm feeling to it. Had food in bar which was really good....More

Family occasion here this weekend. An issue arose, I won't bore you with the inane details, but the managements approach to this issue was confrontational and inept. Customer service training does not appear to be part of any management development programme.
