The service was very poor and it took us a hour to get our table! Not kid-friendly! The food was normal and it had awesome desserts like: cheesecake with Strawberry jam and bread pudding! There was steak, there was liver and tomatoes on bread also!...More

Family dinner. Good large hamburgers that come with fresh potato chips. Pasta dishes are good. Server was very helpful in making menu suggestions. Room was packed by 8:00 p.m. so it is very loud. Hard to have a conversation due to the noise but the...More

Sourced out this restaurant on the web. The husband and older son were very keen as it has its own Kraft brewery. They tried several of the beers and were able to buy gift items to bring home. We were seated under an enormous canvas...More

Amazing pizza, good beer, beautiful atmosphere. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months and it's absolutely gorgeous out there. At least one server speaks English and there are menus in English. I would recommend making reservations at +39 050 643 739. Sometimes they close...More

The food menu is simple (pizza, prosciutto, cheeses and other typical tuscany dishes, artisan beer and wine) but the unique feature of this place is that all food is locally produced, and has that authentic flavor that you only get to know if you grow...More

Description
J63 Craft Agricultural Brewery is set in a country house of about 600 square meters in the heart of the ancient village of Torre a Cenaia Estate, in Val di Tora at the foot of the Pisan Hills. It has its strong point in the use of raw materials at zero distance and in the skillful creativity of the Master Brewer. J63 Beer is a craft beer, so it’s not pasteurized neither filtered, and it’s brewed with barley grown in the fields of the estate itself. By virtue of this, Torre a Cenaia is a member of the COBI - Italian Consortium of Producers of Beer and Barley - and its beers are defined Agricultural and they are identified by the mark BIRRAGRICOLA issued by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, as you can see in the back label of each bottle. The name and the project of J63 Craft Agricultural Brewery are deeply connected to the history of the territory in which it is located. J as Julia, the girl and martyr, then saint of Livorno, whose holy body was stolen from Corsica and brought to Brescia. During her journey, in 763 AD, Julia reached the ancient village of Torre a Cenaia, where she stopped for a night. The road traveled by the holy girl was the Via Francigena, the famous route crossed through the centuries by thousands of pilgrims and travelers, dotted with inns where pilgrims refreshed themselves with a hot meal and a mug of craft beer, because they couldn’t drink water. 63 is a recurring number in the history of the Torre a Cenaia: first of all, it’s the house number of the Brewery, then the holy body of Julia arrived in the ancient Cenaja in 763 AD; then, in 1463 Luca Pitti, ancestor of the Count Robert Pitti of Cenaja, was appointed Captain of the Commons and he acquired in his coat of arms the Red Cross that today distinguishes the brand and the products of Torre a Cenaia. Finally, in the cabal 63 is a magic number and symbolizes the Sun that generates life. J63 Brewery is also Brew-pub, Restaurant and Pizzeria, where you can enjoy your meal in the area reserved for production of beer. The kitchen, equipped with a modern wood stove, uses zero kilometer raw materials that are produced in the Estate or carefully selected from the surrounding area. In particular, the use of genuine yeast and the natural leavening allow to obtain high quality baked products, that are healthy and perfectly digestible. Two large rooms reserved for catering and a wide green area in front of the building are available to organize each kind of events throughout the years.
