If the weather is terrible you can stop skiing and laugh with friends in this mountain self-service restaurant. The food is tasting average. There is live rock music that is better. People are smiling. There is spontaneous dancing at times. The nearby mountains are difficult....More

Hello, Glad that you had great time in our cafeteria and thank you to tell this on TripAdvisor. Our team is happy to see it. Have a nice day

I was really pleased to find a mountain restaurant that seems to be encouraging people to drink tap water and hence reduce the use of single use plastic bottles. If only more mountain restaurants would follow their lead. Well done Le Chalet Charamillon!

Based on the other reviews you wouldn't think much of this place, but we liked it. We have been to Chamonix the past 2 years and skied Le Tour several days during each trip. This is a comfortable lodge with nice views and the cafeteria...More

Hello, Thank you for your comment. You're true this is not a restaurant it's a cafeteria but we do our best to propose good products and we are happy that you like it. For live musicf that will be all winter on Saturday and Sunday...More

This self-service restaurant serves typically overpriced food (eg 9 euro for a bowl of watery soup). It does have a large outside terrace area and lots of seating however. Hence, our advice is to bring your own sandwiches and drinks, and just make use of...More

Sadly this place offered districtly average luke warm cafeteria style food and sandwiches. €15 for a meal or €8 for a sandwich. Wine and beer was very expensive too. Get a far better meal by taking the extra time to walk or ski to Les...More

Wife had soup, which was very watery, from the restaurant while we both had tiramisu which was, well, different to others I've had over the years. My baguette, cheese, from the take-away side was nothing special although coffee served was ok. In terms of queues...More

Unfortunately options on the slopes are limited. Despite the long line they weren't putting burgers on the grill until someone ordered one. Took way too long. Grill smoke filled most of the restaurant. Wouldn't eat there again. Fries were pretty good, burger was decent.

A great place to stop for a snack, though the food's a bit average to go for a big meal. The deck chairs and loungers are a plus.

Don't bother - awful mountain cafeteria serving food that does not taste fresh or good - staff seem to be bored and unhappy. Better options available at le Tour.

For a change this fast-ish food joint on the slopes at the top of the Le Tour gondola is quite a pleasure to stop by either during the day for a drinks break or for lunch. The chalet serves both regular fast food as well...More
