Saturday lunch time on a warm summer day and Hart's Barn is a good place to visit after a walk in the forest. Oscar the resident dog and our dog Winter became firm friends. We ordered off the Specials board although there is plenty of...More

We visited here in early August 2017 and it is worth the visit. Hidden in the corner of a small attractive courtyard nested between unique small gift shops. The food was delicious and the scones were some of the best we have ever had, freshly...More

Met friends from work for lunch. Lovely atmosphere, attentive waitress and superb food. There are also some lovely little shops to visit whilst there.

Nice tearoom with a forties feel, aided by the quiet background music. Good selection of scones, (tea)cakes and meals, presented by friendly staff. Service perhaps a little slow. The whole site, including the tearoom, is not well signposted and we had to ask where it...More

I visited the tearoom with a friend. The room is very pleasant and the service excellent. All the food was very fresh and the soup was hot. I will be glad to revisit the tearoom again.

Beautifully presented food in a gorgeous vintage inspired location. Barn room upstairs too so we could eat as a group. Often playing fabulous wartime music in the background to go with the fantastic vintage crockery. Amazing price for afternoon tea (scone and tea). Always have...More

Hi thanks for your question. We have a ramp access for the step up into the tearoom. The disabled toilet is on flat access. However, there is not flat access from the car park to the courtyard. There are no steps but... More

We are a family-run tearoom focusing on using good quality local produce. We serve breakfasts, home-cooked lunches, light snacks & our highly regarded home-baked cakes and scones, enjoyed on their own warm from the oven, with clotted cream & jam, or as part of our celebrated afternoon teas.

We have 16 loose leaf teas from which to choose, and James Gourmet Coffee from Ross-on-Wye. Booking is advisable for lunch & especially for Sunday roasts served every Sunday 12-3.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for, with gluten-free & limited dairy-free items available on the daily menus, but please let us know when making your reservation if you have specific dietary needs.

We serve our hot food menu (including breakfasts) until 3pm all year round.
