Bored of Sunday lunch, we went on a hunt for something different, and pie fitted the bill nicely. The pies here are great, pastry is light and tasty and the fillings are a joy.

From the minute we arrived the service was first class. Lovely atmosphere and very buzzy. Absolutely full this evening. We had their two in one pies with a choice of mash/chips/new potatoes and vegetables it was superb. Thank you to all the staff and Philip Keiran the owner. We will be back very soon.

We stayed here as we had booked a trip to the Hillside Brewery. The whole team were very friendly and welcoming. Prior to arriving we received a curteousy call asking if we wanted to book a table for the evening, which we hadn't thought of, and when we got there, one of the team (sorry, didn't get your name, young... Came to The Farmers Boy Inn for a meal with my fiancé and once again the service was brilliant. We were met by Kym who offered us to have a drink at the bar first whilst we waited for our starters to come out. When we had our mains which I ordered a ribeye steak and my partner had the... More

We extended an Argos trip over the weekend. What a find! Private quiet clean but available when needed. The food did seem expensive but not when you taste the quality! As somebody who doesn't usually eat pies, I'm a convert. Service was top notch and my hubby assures me they keep a good pint! We will be using this venue... More

The food is fabulous, the pies are just delicious and proper chips, Nice to see real ales, the layout is nice we found a small corner and it was quite romantic, a nice place for a date night. A little expensive but the as the saying goes you pay for what you get and this was quality..

This pub has an 'olde-world' atmosphere with its tables set out in lots of separate sections so it feels quite private but you don't feel isolated. The low beams and dried hops hanging from them all create a lovely atmosphere. It can cater for parties (and there was a fairly large birthday party going on when we arrived). The staff... More

The food and service here were top class. It is a pub, if you want a drink with a good range of real ales. Food, though, is served in the restaurant, and the prices reflect the quality of the food and the fact it is a high quality restaurant. We were particularly impressed that the five year old was served... More

Description
Welcome to The Award Winning Farmer's Boy Inn Longhope

Simply put, we love food. Not just for what it is, but for the experience that accompanies it. Homely surroundings, great company and conversation, attentive waiters, who become friends and of course fine wines from around the world. After an evening of gastro food delights, gourmet pies and laughter in front of the open fire retire to our courtyard of boutique individually designed rooms and drift off, to wake up to the sounds, sights and smells of the idyllic Gloucestershire countryside. Followed of course by a hearty breakfast and maybe a stroll up the majestic May Hill
