Best sundries octopus. We didn’t have a reservation but ended up waiting only 15 minutes. There is nearby free parking.

WOW! We ate here four years ago and it was easy to find a spot in the small carpark and go to an available table at Medusa, but not this time. The carpark has expanded quite a lot and we were told that we would...have at least a one hour wait for lunch, so they wrote our names down and we walked around taking photos of the sea scenes and drying octopus. We went back after 40 minutes and the waiter (who did a terrific job keeping track and trying to guess when people would leave and a table would be available) and names were being called. Suddenly our names came up - people before us were nowhere to be seen despite being called for a few times, so we were shown to a table after 40 minutes. We HAD to have bbq octopus (2 tentacles) - along with 2 Mythos, Greek salad with local cheese (5 olives), grilled calamari and 1 litre of water. A wonderful meal at Medusa, while not cheap, was very worthwhile. 54.40 Euro or around $95 Australian for two.More

This is a cool restaurant as an experience while on Milos. The views of the Mediterranean Sea are breath-taking. The quaint little fisherman spots are fun to check out and take pictures with while you wait for a table (you will absolutely have to wait)....Beyond all that, is the food good and fairly priced? Well, the seafood was fresh (obviously) and the rest of the food was above average in my opinion for Greek Islands, but I think you really come here and pay for Instagram and the views. There is a photo of Justin Bieber eating at the restaurant hanging on the wall.More

Does this place need yet another five star review? This probably won’t make any difference, but I’ll still reflect that I had the best Greek dinner experience of my trip at Medusa. Thanks to Pericles the owner. He topped off a night of great food...amidst incredible surroundings, served by an attentive and accommodating staff, with a warm welcome and extra pours of ouzo that weren’t going to stop until we insisted. What fun, what great food, what a great place.More

This place lived up to the hype. The best views of any restaurant we ate at in Milos, and the food was delicious. So much character to this restaurant. We went for lunch and had a great experience. Waited for about 20 minutes for a...table for 6, but the wait was worth it.More

Great location and great atmosphere for sea-side dining. Recommended for lunch, dinner or dessert. Grab a drink of there is a wait and explore the fishing village. For dessert, try the kadaifi with ice cream! The swordfish is amazing.

We arrived at mandrakia at 11.40 . We saw the restaurant Medusa and remembered we had read great reviews so we went to kindly ask the waiter setting tables if we could have a table for a drink . We were completely ignored twice despite...being in absolute earshot of this waiter so I walked a little closer ( 1 foot away now ) and repeated excuse me could we have a drink ? He continues to set tables , not even looking up , and mumbles 12 o'clock. I said ok fine do we have to book , he did not look up and completely ignored this simple question .THEN worse , I repeated v nicely my question and said it would be nice if you wld reply please to which he looked up and said in a rather loud voice " I don't care what you ask , whet you want " I said that is not good for tourism / customers all I asked is a simple question to which he then responded aggressively " I dont care the tourists , I dont care you " . Needless to say we wont be back and I now others who have received similar inhospitable attitude .no need and v bad taste !More

Went to Medusa for lunch. Restaurant is perched up on a cliff overlooking ocean. Swordfish souvlaki was delicious. There’s a picturesque village located right outside of the restaurant and Sarakiniko Beach is very close.

Understandably it was a busy Saturday night. We put our names down and was told it would be 55 minute wait and that was okay. as soon as we were seated it took a long time for a waiter to see what would like. Another...couple who had been seated after us already had an entree. Ordered the fried feta with honey which was excellent, the fried kalamari and grilled sun dried octopus which was also really nice. but the kicker ordered the local sausage and fries and it was obviously forgotten as it took 45 minutes after our other food to come out. Other tables around us were offered coffee and desserts and even with us sitting around for 45 minutes for our 4th dish not once did a waiter check to see if everything was alright. Food was 4 star Service and wait time 0 starsMore

I'd say it's the best restaurant in Mandrakia . It's also the only restaurant in Mandrakia . Very nice setting with great views all around but this place gets really crowded for lunch as many tourists stop to visit the picturesque village . Plan on...a wait for lunch .More

Shocking after all the reviews I read about this restaurant location was excellent but after that was down hill Salad was ok we asked for grilled calamari but the waiter, said no don’t have it grilled not good have it fried same for the octopus...we don’t like fried food so he suggested octopus in the vinegar, wine sauce, which was slimy and the grilled swordfish and grilled shrimp. Well shrimp came five minutes later and a swordfish came 45 minutes later. They were both greasy and burnt on the outside and when I told him about it, he says, did you ever have sword fish before it takes long time to cook because it’s a thick piece. Unfortunately it was on a skewer no napkins no lemon, no salt and when I told him about it, he says oh no you only ask me for napkins not for lemons or salt 😡😡 which the never came instead of saying I’m sorry we’re very busy. We are overwhelmed or something. He tried to make me feel that I didn’t know what I was eating. I’ve eaten all around the world one of my Worse experiences.More

The food was decent, the views are great. Had never heard of this place until we realized it was above our Airbnb, just walked right in at 1230 and got a table for 2. The bread and olive oil to start were good. My wife...had the fried eggplant and said it was good but has had better on other islands. I enjoyed the fried calamari and the milos fried cheese pita things. We also had the meatballs and fries. The meatballs definitely needed sauce but after we saw other tables ordered tzatziki and people were dipping meatballs and other things in that so maybe we were doing it wrong but other islands they came sauced up. The service was quick and friendly, almost too quick and making it feel like you’re being rushed but nobody said anything to us.More

What a great experience we had here at this restaurant. After a full day of driving the island we decided to try our luck for a table. We arrived around 5.30pm and waited about 15 mins for a table but the wait was worth it....The view the food the drinks and the service were all 10/10. Easily the best restaurant we visited on the island. Try the octopus cooked in vinegar it was so tenderMore
