The tavern keeps the traditional and local character of the island. The service is very good and the food is very tasty.
We ordered a Greek salad with the local cheese, a fried squid and a shrimp pasta for 2. We paid 45 € and it was totally worth every euro.

We visited here and I can say it was fantastic food and the prices were reasonable too! There is a nice choice for all foodies and ensure you ask for what homemade food they have on the day as separate to the main menu.
I read reviews and those whom were negative don't know good food from a traditional Greek taverna if it hits them in the face! We loved it and would return again and again.
Service was good and a nice location near the sea but will need a car etc to get there if staying outside the area.
Only negative was the grilled octopus was too small for the cost, I've not seen it that small before.
Out of all the places to visit in Kimolos please visit Sardis you will not be disappointed!

We had the best zucchini balls in Kimolos and their traditional recopie of eggplant with basil and tomatoes was one of the best things we had eaten in a long time! We visited the restaurant twice cause we loved it so much. The staff are really friendly and caring , prices are very reasonable and portions were very generous. Definitely worth a visit while on the island

Even though a good friend recommended Sardis Restaurant, the food was not god except from the salad. Roasted sardines were swimming in oil-lemon sauce while in spaghetti with shrimps we just ate boiled spaghetti with some shrimps as a decoration. The “famous” lobster spaghetti was not available…
The service was fast.

Very welcoming family-run restaurant close to the sea at Alyki beach. Very interesting range of traditional cooked dishes. Unfortunately we just missed the goat dish. Excellent baked aubergine with Greek basil and tomatoes - beautifully creamy texture from home-grown vegetables.

Family business, beautiful and small environment. The service was excellent and welcoming.We ate village salad, cooked, musharaki with pasta and suzukiaki.and saganaki and we drank beers.We paid around 60 euros and cash. Honest traditional.food reminded us.old.flavors! We tried to go a second time.but.not found.table :) has people maybe need Reservation for peak hours.

This restaurant offers the most delicious and fresh meals in Kimolos. All dishes I tried were great, but the fish was truly amazing! The staff and owners are very friendly and the service is excellent. Location is very nice too, with direct view of the sea.

Recommended to us by those who rented the car for us on the island, we had dinner in this restaurant on the last evening before departure.

Came by this place by chance and were wonderfully surprised. Excellent Greek food all around. Only fresh stuff is used for cooking and local too! There is a day menu only made for today and in our case it was to die for. A lot of vegetarian options too. Just perfect! Friendly staff and sea view. What else could one desire on Greek Island? 😊

Had a fabulous lunch consisting of the Sardis salad, fava and grilled sardines. All were fresh, copious, perfectly presented and perfectly cooked. Combined with the professional service of Yannis, (who has a great future ahead of him in tourism as he has absolutely the right attitude to the job and with his polite & friendly approach to clients), I thoroughly recommand Sardis Restaurant and we will be returning without hesitation!

On the beach of Aliki, on the cool terrace you eat simple and good. Some of the dishes are more successful in executing some not so much (like the Imam Baildi which had neither garlic nor flavours), the fish we ordered was fresh and well baked. There are a few good choices in bottled wines at reasonable prices. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the kids at the service try friendly. Any restaurant. From crazy prices for fresh fish between 60 and 90 euros per kilo! Here the tourists are taken for cash cows and the prices are crazy but the quality is not exceptional as on the whole island.

I'm Greek Australian and this is my 9th time to the motherland, but first time on Kimolos island. The food here is delicious, fresh, clean and tastes home made. Great value for money and the staff are very friendly and sweet. Safe to say I have eaten here every day and would highly recommend. Traditional food and atmosphere for the true Greek experience. The chef is truely a master!

We ate at wonderful restaurants in Santorini and Milos but this restaurant stands out. Sardis is by far our favorite restaurant so far. The restaurant is located in Aliki beach on Kimolos island, a short ferry ride away from Milos island. The chefs are the son and daughter in law of Beba who started the restaurant. Everything we ate was delicious and the service was excellent. Well worth the trip to Kimolos.
