I ordered a burrito here, the wrap tasted of rancid butter. The burrito didn’t have any beans and consisted mainly of rice and was dripping with oil. The vegetables were all overcooked and soggy. The only texture in the burrito was sogginess. The cheese also...was of poor quality and just contributed to even more fat in the wrap. My lips were fatted For the day and felt sick after eating this oily foodMore

We went on Monday 6/15/2020. This is the first day restaurants can serve alcohol in Thailand. The margaritas were so bad that all 4 of us cold not drink them. The fish tacos were very bad. The pulled pork was uneatable. We ordered 11 tacos...(fish, pork and chicken) All were terrible tasting. Worse of all the service was so bad we all were angry. All 4 of us ordered tacos. Should be easy. No. I got mine fast. 2 others waited 10 minutes to get theirs. The 4th lady in our party never got hers. How difficult is if for a waitress to see one person without food. Get rid of the bartender. He is awful. A good drink could have make the other problems bearable. But he started off with terrible drinks and it go worse from there. I am saying you need to do this to save your business.More

Nice cold draft beer and good food. Good service also but all this is let down by allowing disgusting people to smoke right next to me and my 10 year old daughter. We moved table but then another table near us had a smoker though...not so close. Smoking has no place in restaurants even when outside.More

Sad to make this review but as an expat and a frequent costumer i just had enough... rude service, bad food... such a shame, used to be a good place. Did complain by pm to the owner but on return nothing changed. So 3 really...bad experience in a row is just to much, never again. Bye....More

We are very sorry Lars, It was bad timing. We are doing kitchen construction, so we serving a smaller menu from a food trailer during 2 weeks and also had some staff issues. We will be better 🙏

A small Mexican food stall next to the villa market, recommended by our driver. Hubby and I went without expectation and were pleasantly surprised , the food is so delicious and price is very cheap. Even the cocktails are great. The only thing that I...have to caution any one is to be aware of the mosquitoes and flies... there!!More

We're attempting to pop into most places in Boat Avenue for a cocktail and a snack and we were excited to try The Mexican as soon as drove past it and they did not disappoint! Here's what we had and what we thought; Atmosphere: Modern,...out door 'pop up' vibes with lots of SUGAR SKULLS! Food Menu: Printed on pieces of wood, it was full of all your Mexican favourites. Drinks Menu: On the back of that same piece of wood, there were plenty of drink specials but how could you not go for a margarita! Staff: Head waitress was good fun - it took them a minute to communicate to us whether we sit or stand or how to order but they offer table service so we got there in the end. Bathrooms: None on site that I saw - just the shopping complex public bathroom, which is fine. What we ordered: Deep fried spicy chicken wings with killer sweet chilli and herb dipping sauces. YUM - the food was 11/10 SO GOOD! Free Stuff: Nothing complimentary however our first drinks were strong, our second drinks were VERY POTENT! I commented to our waitress how strong my Mojito was and she gave me a devilish smile and replied 'I made it so strong, special for you' Drinks Counter: 2 Magaritas (classic), 1 Muay Thai, 1 Mojito (mango) Bill: approx 750 THB for 2 adults We hope to return before we leave!More

I love Mexican and Taco Tuesday sounded great - but from the moment I walked in with my 3 kids, this place somehow under-delivered. A table for 4 was hard to sort and it was made to feel like we were an inconvenience for needing...one. Waitresses and serving staff themselves were gracious, but the vibe was off. Chips and salsa came with no salsa, chips on their own we’re more expensive than chips and salsa, and the tiny pots of guacamole were ridiculously priced for their size / causing an issue at bill time. The tacos themselves were tasty - we had a combo of chicken / beef / pulled pork tacos and I enjoyed them all. Margaritas and mojito were reasonably priced but not great tasting... All in, what is a beautiful spot in Boat Avenue, beautifully designed, came up lacking. We won’t be going back.More

Had a delicious taco and mojito here for reasonable prices. Right around the corner from the night market too. Would definitely return!
