The guest house is newly renovated, it’s clear that a lot of money was invested. Unfortunately, an atmosphere was created that is not met in practice: the restaurant wants to be posh, but it doesn’t meet its want-to-be standards. The orchids look bleak, you could...see the spider webbing and the waitress is seen seldomly: the wait is long. The prices are in the higher price range, especially for the country side. The food is good, but for the price you expect more. The carpaccio is ridiculously small, A 17€ lamb burger is only served with fries, a side salad is 4€ extra. The apricot dumpling is great, but for 7€ you expect at least two, although only one is served. You can see in the way the food is served that the aim is higher class, but in my opinion the x-factor is missing. All in all there are places where the bang-for-buck ratio is way better.More

What an excellent treasure. We have been on our way to Vienna and wanted to make a quick stop for dinner. Well, we found a gem. Very friendly staff, exquisite food and wine, modern, but traditional interior - and a nice playground. All was just...perfect. The only downside: no rooms and we had to continue our drive. We will come back!More
