Clearly everyone here is trying to please. Some issues I have is, waitstaff should not pass food over the head of patrons for obvious safety reasons, a system to ensure the orders are recorded correctly and no one or nothing is missed would be prudent, waitstaff should be trained to check cutlery etc for food that did not come off... Roley's has amazing food with very generous portions. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a lovely feel to it. Highly recommend the steak here, it was cooked perfectly.

If you are looking for a really pleasant restaurant then I can highly recommend Roley's on the Ridge. It was recommended to us by our B&B hosts at Picture Perfect in Bedfordale. You need to book in advance. They have a nice balcony area looing out over the ridge which is perfect for a sunset cocktail. So check the time... More

I had my wedding reception lunch at Roley's on the Ridge yesterday, after getting married in Araluen Botanic Gardens. The staff provided excellent service to all 40 of us. They went above and beyond to cater for us all and it was the little things they did which were much appreciated, such as delaying the desserts during speeches, closing the... More

We were made to feel very welcome even though it was near to closing time. We were only there for coffee and cake so I only had a look at the menu. Some of the prices were quite high but most reasonable. There are child serves, vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free, dairy free options. A full breakfast at $22 looks good.... More

We originally wanted to book a Family dinner but after looking at the menu we cancelled the pricing was very expensive and menus were very restricted and would perhaps not have suited most people. The restaurant is well situated I think that the Resteraunt needs to have a look at its prices

I used to dine at Roley's a few times a year before moving overseas. We came here for Sunday lunch after 3 other cafes in Roleystone were fully booked, only two other tables were full here. We both had a main of red spot emperor fish and chicken breast with pork belly and both found the meals just ok. Portions... More

Confusion over sides, states on menu for example the steak comes with chips, yet when the waitress asked what you would like with steak, salad or chips, these are charge separately on top of your meal. Not much selection on menu. A top quality Restaurant in Perth for example Julio's does not serve chips, if you want chips then I... More

Hi Corinne541 we are sorry you got the wrong idea when we offered you side dishes! It is standard practise in all good restaurants to offer accompaniments to your meal. Certainly some pubs will offer the proverbial chips or salad option with the steak, so we can see where the confusion occurs. Our meals are well known for their generous... More
