Worth the walk for a fantastic lunch, complimentary chicken soup, the Pad Thai was tasty, had a very generous serve and was cheap. A refreshing fruit shake from the stall in front of the shop topped the whole lunch off. Loved it!

The reviews aren’t wrong- this place is great! Authentic Thai food where the locals go. 2 chicken pad Thai and a bottle of water was Australian $5.05. Awesome. English menus and the staff speak English too. Don’t miss it when you are in Phuket.
Definitely when you’re in the Karon or Kata area you MUST eat at Pad Thai shop. It’s not on the main touristy strip (it’s one block back from the beach on a hill) but don’t let that stop you. It is INCREDIBLE food!
If you want a true Thai experience, head to the pad Thai shop. It’s hectic and very warm, with open kitchens so you know when they’re cooking chilli but the food is great and you can just soak up the atmosphere.
