We were lucky to get a table at 9pm on Saturday night. The Service was fantastic, attentive and the girls were friendly and helpful. The food was also fantastic, The fish was cooked perfectly and the portions were fine. We had starters, mains and desserts - £150 including a tip! The staff called for a taxi and let us wait... No frills restaurant / good pub but great food. Had some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Would definitely return, the staff are lovely too.

After staying in ettington for a long weekend meeting family and friends we took a trip over to this restaurant. Food was average but if anything cold. Staff friendly though which made up for it.

Had a meal here with friends, the resturant was fully booked but the staff managed to get a table in the bar for us, we had a super meal, with great service, great food and lovely atmosphere, would most defiantly go again if ever in the area.

A roadside pub in a small country village, with food service from 6.30 pm. A lovely warming fire on quite a cold night. Fairly quiet at the time of my Wednesday evening visit. I imagine, much busier at weekends. Friendly bar staff.

Easy to locate, good parking and access. The pub is certainly decorated in an unusual and flamboyant style. Menus arrived swiftly as did the drinks. Friendly staff and interesting food selection made for a very pleasant lunch. We would return.......

Used to live in Ettington so went back for a look see. Had a gorgeous Sunday lunch with perfect beef, crisp fresh vegetables and really good roast potatoes. Service was good, place was clean and we enjoyed every aspect. Well worth a visit. Great hosts and smiling staff. Well done and thanks

We stopped here for lunch on the advice of a businessman from the neighbourhood and it didn't disappoint. Good service, good food and clean throughout. I ate the best steak and ale pie I have ever had in my life, and my husband said he had never eaten such well-prepared cod either.

From the moment we walked through the door we knew we were in for a good experience with the very warm welcome. The staff were very friendly, nice ales in good condition and all 4 of us were very impressed with our food.
