We had a bottle of prosecco, which was divine and drank it in the adjoining garden it only cost £20 as it was a happy hour deal.

Met family here for lunch before checking in to the Ettington Chase Hotel. The lunch was very good and the landlord had time to chat with us . A great village pub.

Lovely little pub with lots of character! Beautifully decorated and in a lovely village. Food is great and nicely presented, quite expensive but I presume this is normal for that area.

The food was amazing, the only issue was the portion size was small for the price you paid. The fish and chips was around 12 quid and the fish was about half the size of a normal fish you'd expect. But honesty it was really nice.

Me and my mum treated ourselves to a nice meal out here. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free foods, and had a menu on which they had highlighted the gluten-free options. Some of them were not available gluten-free, which is fair enough, but the ones that could be adapted with gluten-free bread or flour were stated on the... More

We visited this pub only by the reviews on trip adviser and mainly as it was local to where we was staying that evening. Very impressed with this find, went for dinner and drinks for husbands birthday. Walked out very pleased. Food was brilliant and service was attentive and pleasant! Atmosphere was cosy and intimate! Would visit again!

We spotted The Chequers Inn as we drove to our hotel. It looked so nice so I checked it out on the internet. They were closed on Mondays but armed with the useful info from the website I rang and booked a table for Tuesday evening. The Chequers was literally 5minutes walk from our hotel. There is a range of... More
