Reading some of the other reviews, directed my wife and i towards this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the service was fine. It must have been a quiet night and the live music was not playing. We opted for the thai food and had three dishes together with boiled rice. The food was ok but neither outstanding or... More

It was very nice, nice atmosphere good food. We went because of its strong reputation on TA. It did not disappoint except went the bio came and we tried to pay for the meal with a credit card. In my experience in Phuket only the very small mom and pop type places don't take credit cards. We were very surprised... More

This was well worth the 800 odd baht spent. Received a very warm welcome from the owner who helped me find a place to park my moped. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious. Plus live singing which my girlfriend enjoyed very much. I'll try to go back for sure!

We were recommended by a woman we met at our hotel to visit this restaurant. It was a little hard to find from the main road, but just because it was in a street with restaurants all the way down. The owner was a extremely nice man which also spoke Norwegian and Swedish to our great advantage 😊 we had... More

We specially looked for this place to experience #1 restaurant in Kata according to Trip advisor ;)! We had to fight through lots of caffee attendants along Melissa street and finally were awarded not only because of the cosiness of the place, but also by the old friend of ours being the musiciant praised and remarked by the everyone, his... Really enjoyed our night out here at Cafe Opera the food is very fresh and delicious, the staff are friendly and they had a musician playing the night we visited and he was good. This place is definitely worth a visit and I look forward to returning there next time we visit Thailand

One of the best restaurants in Kata Beach. I was in Kata for almost two weeks and tried scores of restaurants while there and I can honestly say that the Lobster Bisque was one of the best meals I had while there. My only regret is that I didnt discover this restaurant until the day before my vacation ended.

We ate here twice while on vacation. Very nice location -- romantic and intimate. Went back for dessert another night. Live music was nice too. Definitely recommend for visitors.
