About us
Limoncello is the name of a traditional Italian lemon-flavored liqueur. In 1988 Canale’s family registered the first trademark which did include word Limoncello in Capri. Currently the word Limoncello is spread all over the world.
Limoncello co ltd as an italian restaurant and pizzeria was founded in 2007 at the behest of Roberto Ugolini and Gianmaria Zanotti, who decided to open the first Italian restaurant in Phuket.
Subsequently, the company changed ownership and Zanotti decided to sell his shares to Ugolini, who remains the sole owner, therefore Ugolini company is expanding constantly its business in all over the Thailand. Currently they have in whole country, lots of restaurants.
There are over 50 restaurants under the banner “Limoncello” in the whole world, and one of those in United States is owned by famous actor Danny de Vito. Limoncello in Thailand, however, is a registered trademark (TM) wholely owned by Ugolini group, as it is the Thai web domain “limoncello co th.”, therefore, the company Limoncello co ltd is the only legitimate company in Thailand who can use the name Limoncello Italian Restaurant.

Nice pizza!

We had our first meal in Phuket at Capannina. I had margarheta pizza and my husband had vegetarian gnocchi . They were both delicious , however, the portion of gnocchi was a bit too small, so he had to order bruschetta which was tasty too!

Good Italian restaurant with prices a bit above average compared to the normal standard of Phuket: the mixed seafood grill for two people is very good but is a poor portions; pasta lightly salted in excess, excellent stew of clams and the "panna cotta" with chocolate topping. Good service, nice environment and atmosphere.

I've been traveling across the world (including Italy) and the Spaghetti Carbonara Capannina is serving is by far the best I've ever had. I had to go there two times just to be sure the chef is keeping up the perfect quality every single day. He passed the test and beside the delicious food, the service is great and the... More

Authentic Italian food. My friends and I ate here 3 times during our stay in Kata Beach. Perfect for a light lunch or a more substantial dinner. A few bottles of Prosecco with dinner was exactly what we needed.

We shared a pizza here one night, and found delicious food, a friendly welcome, good service, and reasonable value. You can't ask to much more than that.

I was recommended this restaurant by some English friends who told us, "very family friendly, down at the end of an ally where the children will be safe as they can't run onto the busy street but above all it has great Pizza"!!! All True. We loved the Pizza, in fact we went back there a couple of times. However,... More

I've been going to this restaurant for years. I've seen many new clientele and many regulars. In my opinion everything about it is brilliant. The food is very fresh, well prepared, nicely presented and the portions are huge. It's an Italian restaurant and lots of Italians eat here as well as people from every nationality. I'm fussy and not easy... More
