At the end of the day a restaurant is judged on the food and I have to say although it was good it was somewhat overcomplicated. The gravelax for example, there is no need to add crushed peanuts. The quality of the produce should speak for itself. The platters though are very good indeed, no fussy cooking just well sourced... More

Place definitely worth a walk from the center and port. We celebrated anniversary of my Dad and we found it a perfect spot. Decor very eclectic - you either like or hate - however it brings an atmosphere from the Jules Verne stories. I loved the artistic plates, very creative. Food was good, worked and composed interestingly - I never... More

I do agree with a previous review. Owner comes to each table to shake hand. Can be interpreted in different ways. Boat-style decoration of the main room. Terrasse available. Service is friendly, sweet accent of moldavian waitress. Dress style is ambiguous. Food was good. Oysters for me, crab for my wife (if it is tourteau, fine, but skip the spider-crab, not... More

This was our second visit to Lenigo. The owner comes to your table to say hello as if you are a long lost friend but it seems overacted and insincere. Service is confused and a little cold. The waitresses are dressed more for a gentlemen's club than a restaurant. The service was also extremely slow. Over ambitious menu which took... More

We were recommended by our hotel so weren't really too sure what to expect - except that we were staying at a very good hotel so were happy to go along. This was at the end of the season so the restaurant was very quiet and accordingly the service was a bit too quick. That apart our meal was excellent.... More

We were recommended here by our hotel. It seemed to be a popular spot with locals. The owner greets you upon arrival with a friendly handshake. The food was above average for a seaside resort and we enjoyed our meal. Highlights were an anchovy tart appetizer and turbot main course. I would not go out of my way to eat... More

We don't eat shellfish and we don't eat pork so restaurants in this part of the world can present a challenge. It didn't tick all the 'don't' boxes but it was superb and well worth the price. Lunch was professionally and charmingly served under the eagle eye of the proprietor who (despite my French) engaged us in an interesting discussion... More

We have just had our Easter lunch here and went for the hefty €49 menu but were quite disappointed with complicated and over ambitious food. Staff were good and friendly. Overall a disappointing experience.
