Wow! Can't believe this place is not busier. We booked for dinner at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. The bar and restaurant were very quiet which didn't bode well but people you are missing out! Staff were lovely and courteous. We all decided on the pork belly, with youngest requesting extra crackling as he had just got his braces off.... More

Thanks for your review we encourage all comments and we are pleased you enjoyed the carvery. It is very difficult for our chefs to cater for everyone's tastes when catering for 300 or so lunches on our Wednesday and Sunday Carvery, however we have taken your comments on board and passed them over to the Head Chef. We hope to... More

One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Excellent value for money - have paid a lot more for a meal that was nowhere near as good. Hope to try the carvery on Wednesday.

We went here on a recommendation of a family friend. Three of us went to try it and we were not disappointed one bit. The only thing was in the ladies, one of the toilets were broken and leaking on the floor, I reported it to the staff and they were aware, they informed us that they are fixing it... More

Last minute booking to the Copt Hill but don't intend to return. The staff weren't particularly attentive so that wasn't a great start. We ordered drinks and went off to get our carvery. I'm so pleased we were sat in the nice restaurant area because the extended dining room at the back is in desperate need of refurbishment, in fact... More

Firstly, thank you for your review we appreciate all comments as we can use them to improve future services. The extended dining room, I agree is in need of refurbishment, and is being completely redecorated as I type this reply (17/08)- however I would ask you to bare in mind that we have only been here for 12 weeks and... I'm happy to state that The Copt Hill is now of a much better state than it was at my last visit. The place is very clean as are the staff who were also very professional polite and personal. The food was plentiful, very tasty and good value. I will be back very soon 🙂

Called in for old times sake, I had not been in there since 1967, I moved from the area and this was the first opportunity to be back in that vicinity. It was lacking clientele during my visit, a bit on the drab side as well. It may be suffering the fate of so many other pubs in the country... More
