You ring the bell and a boat collects you and takes you 100 meters to Oyster Island. It has a small menu but there will be something you like on the menu, I'm sure. We had a lovely dinner and the location is wonderful. Make sure you have a torch or at least a mobile with a torch to find... More

We visited for lunch and a snorkel. The lunch was nice tho just an unspectacular burger. It's a wee hike to the beaches and our snorkelling experience was average. Probably because we just went off on our own and didn't ask enough questions about best spots etc.

From the moment you strike the bell (an old gas bottle hung up on shore actually) to summon the boat to collect you, you know that you are somewhere special. Oyster Island has one of the most beautiful decks to enjoy your meal and watch the work go by. The restaurant range is good - catering to bland western tastes... More

Across for a pizza, best we've had in a long time, and a paddle up to the blue hole, lovely and peaceful on the river.

Spent a lovely day at oyster island. Very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely local staff and a friendly manager. You can hire snorkels and kayaks, or just laze on the lovely beaches.

I was over there with a group of volunteers, and we had taken Sunday off to go and do the tourist thing. We'd travelled up to Champagne Beach for a lovely swim and then made a last minute decision to drop in to Oyster Island for the buffet. Unfortunately they had not received enough bookings that morning for the full... More

We booked a Sunday lunch buffet. From luganville to oyster resort 1500 vat. Free ferry to the island. You need to book ahead in order to sit in the roofed restaurant otherwise you take somewhere a seat in the hot sun. So far so good. But the food was soo boring and tasteless. At the salad bar you had 5x... More

This came highly recommended to us, and a group of us staying at the Village de Santo all agreed this was a great way to finish off our busy week. Steve Rovu dropped the 6 of us off and we shared the 2000vt cost. My daughter travels with a wheelchair and the ferry that takes you across has a ramp.... More

We came here from Luganville just for the afternoon and had an amazing lunch. We then hired kayaks (reasonable price) and kayaked to the blue holes nearby. The resort had a lovely, relaxing aura about it. I would have loved to have stayed here if we had the chance. It was one of the only places that I saw with... More
