Great Spot for Vegan Food Eats with a View

We went to try out the burgers. We had two different types and both were so good! You can sit and eat out on their patio which has a great view of the Lagoon. Vegan shakes are good too and very filling. Staff is nice, food came quickly...definitely was a good pick to mix up our daily Mexican food selections. The prices are higher than what you would pay in Mexico but they are actually cheaper than what I pay in the US for vegan food. Portions are large as well.

Delightful restaurant

Visited here for quick bite to eat with my girlfriend and the food was really tasty. We both ordered two burgers, which were cooked really quickly and were full of flavour. Also, had a chocolate milkshake, which was also really nice.

Fantastic Food... Made with Healthy Ingredients

Went here with my 15 year old son, at his suggestion... He ordered a Classic Burger, and I had the Maya Burger - Both were Phenomenal. While we were waiting for the food to arrive, he noticed a sign on the table stating that there was no “Meat” in the burgers, and that it was a vegetarian restaurant. By the end of the meal, my son was “mopping up” the burger juice with his last French fries. We are super happy that we went and tried this restaurant.

A great view near the fort, you will love the ambiance. Delicious, fresh ingredients. We both opted for the falafel salad which was outstanding. The local greens crisp and fresh, and the falafel itself was moist and tasty. Served with a little side of hummus made the meal complete. Smoothies are outstanding. So much so I went back the next day and enjoyed the chocolate one with peanut butter, banana and protein powder. Absolutely one of the best I have ever had. Note when you get to the restaurant you order at the counter first and pay, then take your table number and friendly staff will being your order to your table. Also note if you wish to use the bathroom, you need to ask for the key. Even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian, you gotta eat here.

Tasty lunch in Bacalar

Just happened to come upon this charming vegan cafe while sitting under the trees at the fort, waiting for the showers to pass. The place is small, but due to outdoor seating can accommodate quite a few people. Very popular with young backpackers and I understand why. The menu choices are limited, this is a small cafe, there are still plenty of choices for just a snack or a full lunch. The food is excellent, generous portions, and prices very reasonable. The decor is charming, bright, and very clean, fitting for the setting. Guests are more than welcome to linger over your meal enjoying the beautiful view of Laguna De Bacalar.

Salad not worth it

I had their falafel salad, which is very pricy compaired to what you get. The salad consists of big pieces of cucumber, tomato, red onion and iceberg plus the falafels and some hummus. I expected much more to that price, also considering that everything is self service.

Wish there were more of these around the world! We loved the eclectic menu with tacos, veggie burgers, salads, fries, cookies, kombucha and more. Amazing flavors, great presentation, great service, cool music, affordable prices, nice view, really has it all. Their vegan chef absolutely crushes meat versions of these dishes. The vegan cheese and taco flavors were dreamy, as in, I still dream of them. Highly recommend going here!

Vegan Heaven

Best vegan food I've ever had. I'm vegetarian and my family likes meat, and we all loved it. I got the beetroot burger-- it was delicious, my aunt got the falafel she said was very good, but I have to say the soy patty burger my mom and sister got was the best, it was thick and melt in your mouth delicious. The servings are awesomely big, and the food is inspired. They have a bathroom and the parking is nearby, great location and ambience, def a fav restaurant in all of Mexico. My sister also loved the chipotle mayo and chocolate chip cookie.

You Won't Miss the Meat

Wow! We heard from some friends that this place had the best veggie burgers around... Or 0ossibly anywhere. And they were not overselling it! We got the Classica Burger and it was awesome! Served with a healthy portion of fries, you won't leave with an empty stomach. Also, while you're at it... Try one of the vegan milkshakes! I ordered the vanilla but it had more of a banana flavor (which I didn't mind at all, but just a heads up). A great place for lunch!

Best Vegan Comfort food in Mexico!

So rarely am I able to find giant burgers, fries, and 'milkshakes' as a vegan, even more rarely here in Mexico, but this place delivers all that goodness. This place is so satisfyingly indulgent that have to keep myself from going back everyday I stay in Bacalar. The chocolate chip cookies are some of the best anywhere!

Beat vegan and vegetarian food

I highly recommend this place, I just felt in love with the beverages and the entire menu. My friends didn’t realize that the food was vegan, because the taste is even better that usual. Please try the Ginger brew! Definitely my favorite ever 🥰

Great vegan restaurant!

Amazing vegan restaurant in the center of Bacalar. We came back for the second time, because we had to eat again the great burgers! We also recommed the tasty smothies and milkshake. The restaurant is located infront of the lake, so there's a nice view, and also a wide green area that is nice for children to run around. Highly recommended!

We literally ate here multiple times in our short trip to Bacalar... dine in and take out. the food was amazing, they had the best vegitarian/vegan options, and the desserts/smoothies were so fresh. Seriously best quality/affordable food we found.

Perfect food leaving the Fort, we tried a burger, the tacos and the smoothie. The Burger is better than most meat burgers, the tacos are good and the smoothie, with its fresh fruit, delicious. Fast and friendly service.

Worst cafe place in bacalar

Worst cafe in bacalar. Undfriendly service. Self service worst kind. Cafe comes in paper Cups. Spoon is plastic. Plates made of cartonage and hard to keep on table with the Wind. Very wastefull cafe. I accidently spilled cafe and they saw it and didnt even ask if we want another one.. For pay or no pay. Any other cafe would have offered a new free cafe. Waffels were tasty. We will never go back... There are many and much better Cafes in bacalar.
