Lovely lunch at Cafe du Nord waiting staff attentive not rushed. If you want good food well priced I recommend here. If you want fast food I think there is a McDonald's in Autun.

Dear JDaniels, Thank you for your review, and the team is very sorry to see that you were not satisfied with our restaurant. We apologise that you had to wait beyond your convenience; we all try our best during July and August (very busy months...More

Had a lovely set meal here on a festival night in August. I supposed you could describe it as a Middle Eastern taster menu; imaginative and tasty

We dropped by this cafe for a drink/snack. Both two waitresses (one about 40's and the other one about mid-late 20's) totally ignored us and wouldn't serve us when we sat down at the table outside. When we were wondering, a man at the other...More

Dear PoppyN, So sorry that you had this bad experience but I think it was just a big misunderstanding because on 28th July we were as many as five English speakers in the team: Shane, Hattie, Dim, Pierre Antoine and myself, and we could easily...More

Set in this gorgeous medieval village, it has prime position. We really were only after drinks at 4.30pm, which is really all that was going at that time. Ordering team meant getting hot water in a pot and a tin on the table (she had...More

Dear "Switchedoff" I am a bit confused by your feedback, and disappointed by the mark (2/5) you gave us. We do have Black Tea, plenty of different kinds. We do have organic milk but - maybe you do not know that - in France you...More

Thank you very much for your encouraging feedback ! Have a nice stay in Burgundy.

This restaurant has managed to offer a modern menu (try the vegetarian plate!) on traditional values (try the terrine!). Everything is home made, and the café has a fresh look combined with vintage. Nice crew as well.

Nice quaint local French restaurant that was recommended to us. While the friendly service was a bit slow - that may had to do with only two of them working - the food was excellent. We had the local escargots and the streak - both...More

Located in the centre of Arnay-le-Duc, the café has a welcoming main room with a warm atmosphere. We favour simple but good quality food, made from local Burgundy products, preferably organic. We have selected good wines from small regional winemakers. Every day we offer a dish of the day and homemade desserts. We are closed on Wednesdays, apart from in July and August, when we are open every day.
