If we had availed ourselves of a full lunchtime meal for two with wine and a tip would have cost about €160. Steak alone cost €19 ( with veg. an extra €11 ) and it was tough. For that price should have been fillet.
Fine dining at its best. This restaurant was recommended by friends for a special occasion. It merits it’s great reputation. Each dish was full of tastes that burst on the tongue and perfectly complemented each other. Everything locally sourced, seasonal and very freshly prepared. €100...for 2 including wine, but speaking as someone on a limited income, worth every penny.More
L’Atelier Bistrot is a small restaurant so it is important to book. The menu is displayed on a chalkboard on the wall. There were four choices for each course, all fish or meat, with only one vegetarian option. As we are all omnivores, this wasn’t...a problem.
Each dish was beautifully arranged, well-cooked and delicious. Between us we had starters of tempura fruits de mer, pate and octopus with main courses of pork, beef and fish. The desserts were a work of art.
This is our first time visiting this restaurant. This is lovely family run restaurant, staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, a nice touch that the chef comes out and welcomes you and serves you your first dish. Will definitely visit again...in our next visit. Make sure you book a table as this restaurant gets booked up, so can not just turn up.More
We are new to the village an this was our first restaurant since arriving in France. What a surprise!
You must book! It is frequented by people from all over and it is run by a couple.
As we arrived several folk were enjoying a...drink at the bar. It looked lovely.
We were seated ordered a beautiful bottle of red, nibbles arrived promptly. The menu was set. The entree a crab dish was perfect! The main was a choice pork or fish with vegetables. Great! Desert was totally the stuff of fairytales!! It was mixed deserts, a tart, red berry fruits, a frozen fruit type desert, a chocolate chocolate lovely chocolate piece and meringue.
Afterwards coffee and we met the chef!
Go there at once but don’t forget to book.More
For such a small village to have such a wonderful bistrot is amazing in itself. Off the beaten track the young family owners have used their considerable skills to create something very special using local ingredients so that every visit is a treat. Well used...by locals and visitors alike the food is amazing and the welcome always warm. They have good cider too!More
So glad we found this little restaurant on recommendation. We have now been here several times for lunch and evening meals and can't wait to go again, on our return to Brittany. Every time we've been we've been amazed at the different menus available and...can't fault the food or the service. Monsieur Le Chef will often serve the food and check all is ok and in English if needed! Madame also speaks excellent English but it's good to practice your French! There is also a delightful Gite just down the road from here, should you wish to stay nearby. Though you need to book a table in advance as it gets very busy and is always booked up!More
Been here four times now and the food, service and venue have always been outstanding. The staff are very attentive and explain everything about the dishes they are serving. There is always a good choice and they will cater for special diet's if they can....Can not rate this restaurant highly enough!!!!!!More
