Great food, service and an amazing view of the St. Lawrence River! Our favourite part to eat is on their screened in porch.

The setting does not get much better than this. Warm and cozy on the inside (wide open veranda and patio in the summer) right on the St. Lawrence River. The food is good. They do a chef's choice for dinner which is fun. I like the bacon and dressing on the Caesar salad. The service is good. Worth going off... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Ivy Restaurant- the appetizers we had included The Ivy Salad and the Mushroom Soup-both were wonderful. Several of us ordered the scallops with lemon saffron risotto....again delicious as was the Pad Thai. Loved the location and "boathouse" feel of the facility. Would only recommend a few directional arrows to help us find our... More

We joined friends for dinner there recently. The setting on the river is special and the decor / atmosphere is very nice. Another friend had suggested that I order the caesar salad and braised ribs so that was my choice. The salad was somewhat disappointing, consisting of 5-6 spears of romaine lettuce with dressing drizzled on it and 2 strips... More

Moored boat at most convenient dock while exploring 1,000 Islands by water and stopped for lunch. Seated on patio with great service, nice young waitress. Try the duck wings.. delicious. A return visit for sure.

We had reservations for 7:30 pm but arrived at 7:00 (after our cruise). Nonetheless, we were seated immediately (out on the outdoor patio, where we wished to be) and had wonderful service from our waitress. We both had the special of the evening - duck. It was prepared beautifully. We had chosen not to have an appetiser, so we had... More

The grounds are gorgeous and the building has been restored and decorated to perfection. Our waitress was lovely......attentive and pleasant with service provided at a nice pace. The house salad was fresh and generous and the shrimp cocktail appetizer was like no other I have tasted. In fact the tomato "jam" on the plate was so good, we asked if... More

We went for lunch with another couple. It was a very nice lunch -- beautiful setting overlooking the river, no waiting for a table and quick service. A limited lunch menu, but that's OK for fresh food. The price of alcoholic drinks was not exorbitant. I had the lobster roll -- a little too much roll and not enough lobster... More

My husband and I celebrated our 27th anniversary at The Ivy. We boated over from Alexandria Bay and docked just outside the restaurant. The hotel/restaurant was just beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and we got seated outside immediately even though we were a little early. Our waitress was great and attentive. She suggested the special hummus which was delish! It...
