My wife and I went for a drive down the Co down coast last night and were passing thorough Donaghadee around 6.30pm and decided to try Pier 36 for our dinner. Well what can I say other than WOW. We were met by a very courteous young man who showed us to our table and left us with a selection... More

We had lunch for 2 in Pier 36 midweek. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere in the bar and I had a really lovely pint of Guinness whilst waiting for our lunch. I could have been tempted by most things on the menu, but went for the special of grilled salmon on a bed of dill potatoes and it was... More

It's been a pleasant surprise, there are rooms upstairs. 14 years I've been eating here and only just recently realised. Nice room too. Food is as good as ever and the Leffe is still on tap. Staff are pleasant and everything comes quickly. What more do you want? a great breakfast? yup. Amazing view as you walk out the door... More

My daughter treated me to a wine tasting evening in pier 36. What an exceptional evening it was. lovely prosecco to start. Fillet steak kebabs cooked to perfection. A meal at pier 36 makes you not want to go anywhere else.

Our tour bus stopped here during our Ards Peninsular excursion while we were on our British Isles cruise. It was a cool and dreary day, with spotty rain; just perfect for an Irish coffee! The place was crowded, with the full compliment of the bus unloading for a brief visit, but the wait staff took it in stride, served us... More

This restaurant used to be great and a firm favourite, however the owners have become greedy and try to cram in as many bookings as they possibly can which inevitably results in crowds constantly waiting for their table . After waiting for well over an hour for our we were given food that certainly was not fresh and stale bread.... More
