My husband and I decided to go for lunch in Donaghadee and went to Pier 36. The staff are very friendly and the service is good. There was a large selection of things available on the lunch menu at a range of prices and the food was good. I had the winter warm salad which had a generous amount of... More

Really helpful. Left cake in early. Had an elderly relative. They went out of their way for seating and to welcome us. Cake came out at end of meal and staff sang Happy birthday. Made my mum in laws night!

I've been here often and find it usually good, but was disappointed at the recent price rises for smaller portions. The Steak Deal is up a Fiver and the Brie starter portion has halved, so a "double whammy" for them. That said, there's always a good atmosphere and the staff are great, but value for money is now less so... More

First course - Queenies, overdone and tough. Lots of them though! - Prawn cocktail - absolutely ok Mains - Pork Belly - not bad, but the three cold purple broccoli stems on top of it looked a bit lost and the mash had been heated up. - Chicken, of some sort, absolutely overwhelmed by batter - described by my partner... We visit Pier 36 as often as we can. It's our local, go to pub/restaurant and you can always be sure of a lovely meal. We mostly go for dinner, however it is lovely to pop in for coffee and breakfast after a walk down the harbour. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm with the log fire by the bar... More

Called in for lunch on spec after a 4 mile wintery trek around the coast and town in late January. Marvellous offer of two courses for £11 if over 65. Sadly no one asked for ID, but the food was excellent and the service complete with banter brilliant.

Pier 36 is a family owned restaurant. We had a party of six out for a family evening together. The food was very good and the service also was good with a friendly atmosphere and you are made to feel welcome. We all had different meals and no one could complain about the food. The night was a great success... More
