Dont let the small venue and kitch decor full you, this is a real gem of a restaurant. Really great food and wine selection. My favourite restaurant !

This place is great, it is pricey but it has everything you could want, character, good service and great food.
We were in Parys for the long weekend (16 December 2016) & decided to have a romantic dinner out one evening. I booked at Ruby's after it came up in conversation but quickly changed our reservation when a reliable (local) source told us Hoi Polloi is great! Fantastic wine list ... page after page. Our first 2 choices were "sold... More
We went to this restaurant on a previous occasion when we visited Parys, but did not realise that most of the well-known restaurants in Parys are closed on a Monday and Tuesday evening. Luckily we saw that the down stairs area was open for lunch . They have a wide selection of food and drinks. We had a salad for... More
The décor says as much about the food and the fine taste of the owners. This restaurant is situated in the main street of Parys overlooking all the cosmopolitan activities and shops. The cuisine is of highest standard and the décor is something to experience. Fancy yet relaxed. Brilliant!! Smoking permitted on the balcony which is the best scenic area... More
Food overpriced. Small portions. Food was tasteless and service was non existent. The server had too many tables which the owner/manager didn't notice. Menu was not varied enough. The stairs to the place were steep snd mot suitable for elderly. Overall not a pleasant experience
All my friends and family got together at Hoi Polloi the day after my 50th birthday party. We merely thought of having something quick for breakfast. What a lovely surprise to find this gem in Parys. Everything is done with taste and detail. Just loved this place and will definitely visit again!
The decor is very interesting and the food choices as well. The staff was very friendly and although they were afraid of my dog, they still brought her a bowl of water. The servcice was effecient and friendly. We will visit again.
