We had our 2nd meal here whilst staying in San Donato. Our first meal was at the local football clubs venue just beside the coop at the bottom of the village and I have to say their pizzas are fantastic and the whole experience should not be missed. Back to Palazzo Pretorio - we didn't book which was our mistake... More

We were given a last minute reservation for 7 people on a busy night so I was already grateful. The food was very good and the staff was nice but seemed a little "cold". The view (we sat outside on the terrace) was the proverbial cherry on top!

We had a reservation out on the patio / garden whuch was very welcome after a hot day under the Tuscan sun!!! We were showed to our table and asked if we would like some water while we decide on what we would like to eat and drink, wich I thought was a good suggestion seeig we were a bit... More

We had reserved a table here for last night based upon a recommendation, and, whilst the food lived up to expectation, the service did not. Perhaps it was because we were only a couple, rather than a larger party, but there was an impression throughout that the staff did not care whether we stayed or left. Aperitifs were not offered,... I had high hopes for this restaurant. There is a lot to like about it. The outdoor seating is fantastic. The seafood was fresh and well prepared. However, the service was lacking. We had a mix up on our order which sometimes happens but shouldn't. The most frustrating thing was it took 45 minutes to pay our bill after we... More

We were brought here by some local friends of ours for the seafood. The quality of the ingredients is high and very tasty, the portions are large so be careful not to over order! We decided to stay on the terrace outside overlooking the beautiful Tuscan valley.

We were here 4 years ago and returned this spring. Wonderful varied menu with emphasis on seafood although many patrons ordered pizzas of all varieties. We stuck to the seafood and were very pleased. My husband told the chef what he liked in seafood and the chef created a dish just for him. He loved the clam, shrimp and past... More

Friendly staff, try to book a table on the nice terrace. Specialised on seafood which is very good. Good wine menu as well, reasonable price.

We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered pizzas which were very rich in taste, and prepared with fresh ingredients. We ended our dinner with a lovely panna cotta and good coffee. The staff is very polite and the restaurant itself has a good vibe. The bill (drinks included) was around 40 EUR - very reasonable for... More

Arrive early if you haven't booked. The restaurant was becoming lively shortly before we left at 8:30. Eating late is, I believe, an Italian thing. The food was fine (we ordered seafood) but the wine (recommended by the waitress) was superb. Still, I t was interesting to see that many patrons were ordering beer and not wine.

Hi all, from Giovanni Santarpia. I take this opportunity to thank you all for the reviews to me. Every review for me has an important meaning for my professional growth: the bad ones have allowed me to tune on the same wavelength of customers and ensure that they are accommodated, the positive ones were a source of gratification, essential to continue in my job. So I thank everyone, without exception. My goal is to satisfy every single person. Giovanni Santarpia
