First of all the hosts, Tina and Peter. They make you feel so welcome in their restaurant. Then the amazing food: Peter is an artist who buys local fresh produce every day and combines it all to make some amazing dishes such as veal carpaccio with gorgonzola cream and beetroot sauce or salmon trout with filaments of leeks on a... This small, charming restaurant in a renovated olive mill is run by a lovely German/Swiss couple, Peter and Tina, who speak not only German but fluent English, Italian and who knows what else. On the strong recommendation of some friends, we went there for the first time last Saturday night - and it was so wonderful that we made a... More

As someone with a "British accent" who has enjoyed an outstanding meal at this lovely restaurant I feel I had to respond to the misleading and totally unjustified comments made by "Prestwickuk". Reading between the lines of this "rugby loving, real ale drinking, backpacker" I would guess his recollection of the experience may be somewhat blurry. If you show up... More

I had just proposed to my lovely girlfriend and were looking for a lovely ristorante to celebrate our engagement. We had been recommended Casa della Rocca as an excellent place to eat at and as you can see the reviews back this statement. However when we arrived we were immediately turned away by who I can only assume was the... More

Dear Guest, we thank you for noticing our restaurant. Congrats also for your engagement and sorry, if our behavior seemed “rude“ to you - as far as I remember, I am always very polite with everyone who runs into our restaurant... One explanation for you: We dont have a card to shelter. We have only ONE Menu and we start... More

A delightful culinary experience! I dined alone here this evening and felt no less valued a customer than the large family groups around me. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, but not stifling. It felt almost more like a dinner party than a restaurant. The service was immaculate, and each of the six courses interesting and delicious. I particularly enjoyed... More

Excellent 6 course meal made from locally sourced ingredients cooked to the hghest standard. From Porchini soup to a wonderful pasta, excellent tuna and lamb courses and a fantastic desert. All very reasonably priced,€35. House wine was also good and reasonably priced. Friendly and informative service and relaxed atmosphere. Great.

I have had the pleasure of eating in this restaurant for the past 7 years and I have to say that the meal we had was possibly the best- if not the best- that I have ever had . In terms of portion size and flavour it was superb. And in terms of cost it represented excellent value for money-... More
