My husband and I made a special visit to Curiously Kentish as we had been looking forward to trying one of their hot sandwiches, we opted for two of the establishment's low and slow cooked beef sandwiches together costing £12, the sandwich was presented in a muffin which was dry and contained only a very sparse amount of beef nothing... Having just bought a holiday home in minnis bay it was with great delight that me and my partner noticed two cafes within walking distance. First we popped our head into curiously Kentish with a view to eating there very shortly. So today arrives and we notice they are doing a bbq on the green, great! We wander over and... More

We visit the area regularly and most times when in England we have Scotch eggs once. They were the best we ever had so far. We did not eat there but bought food to take out only. Also a jar of piccalilly which tasted excellent even to friends who do not normally like it. The place is small but looks... More

We had a Sunday morning family breakfast for 6 plus a baby in arms. The service was superb and the food, all prepared to order with locally sourced and in some cases home cured, was stunningly good. Couldn't have asked for better. We left having purchased items from the deli counter for lunch. It is becoming an extension to our... More

We booked in advance, this was our first experience of the supper club, and we visited with two of our friends. The five courses we were served were excellent, full of flavours, such a pleasant surprise as we didn't really know what to expect. We were made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was cosy and not too noisy.... More

Superb French evening. The food was some of the best I have ever had and Jason and the other chef's were outstanding. Book in advance and try the superb fare. This place gives Wheelers in Whitstable a run for its money.

We were staying in the nearby Waves B&B. They don't provide breakfast on site but instead give you a token to come and have breakfast in one of two local places. We chose this one, having passed it on our way and thinking it looked nice. The guys who run it were really friendly and informative about their business. They... More

A relaxed, friendly and delicious example of how simple dishes should be served well. 5 varied courses, a la francaise, with no clue as to what you are about to be served. Rustic charm, caraffes of wine and all at a hugely reasonable and competitive price. An absolute gem of a place- we WILL be back!
