Me and my fiancee stopped here by accident when visiting the area and had a coffee and a bacon sandwich which wasn't on the menu but the staff were only to pleased to do what we asked for with no fuss. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I was over the moon with the quality of their coffee... More

We were passing and hungry so we (2a 2c) popped in hoping for a sandwich. The menu didn't cater for sandwiches and, although they were offered, we opted for the roast dinner on the spur of the moment. We were not disappointed. Delicious rib of beef with perfectly seasoned yorkshire puddings and great gravy. The price and service were good.... More

I have been to both the supper menu evenings and also the bistro evening menu and have never been disappointed with quality of food and service. Deliciously cooked food and friendly service and all at a good price. Typically you will pay a reasonable ten pounds for a bottle of wine. Starters and desserts from five pounds and mains from... We where out on a bike ride and come across this fantastic restaurant .We sat down for a coffee . With chatting to the owner and staff and notice the fresh items that has on offer and the jars of made sauces and then noticed the menu which was excellently priced. So we decided to treat ourselves to a roast... More

Enjoyed good food and service. The Kentish lamb was very tasty and tender, and the starters smoked salmon and a roasted vegetable gratin was enjoyable. Wine prices reasonable too. Thoroughly recomend.

I popped into this deli as i was working in the area and must admit i was pleased with how nice it looked and the menu selection intrigued me, however this was the only thing that made my visit enjoyable, deciding on the beef sandwich with pickled cucumber for 6 pounds, although expensive did seem tempting. Once paid and taken... More

Popped in here for lunch before heading home after a few days camping. The staff were very helpful knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and dad and young daughter had the pie of the day. Which was a proper meat filed pastry pie. (not a puff pastry top on a stew pot)they offered to do a smaller portion for my daughter.... More

Nothing too much trouble. I could have devoured everyone else's lunches too - everything that came from the kitchen was great. My lunch was "off piste" as in not on the menu and they just produced the best Ploughman on the hoof.
