One thing is for certain - you will not walk away from the Nisa Thai hungry - the entrees and main courses are substantial. This was our first visit, it won’t be our last, so we ordered two entrees and two main courses, spring rolls and satay chicken for the former and Massaman Curry with Beef and Yellow Curry with chicken, for the latter. And how was the food, you ask! Excellent, very tasty with substantial quantities of tender meat. The service was very quick, the prices are very reasonable (around $10 for an entree, $20 for a main course) and the BYO wine option (not for beer) was greatly appreciated. The Alfresco dining on a covered patio provided a nice quiet, aesthetic environment. The Nisa Thai has now been added to our list of preferred restaurants. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It has been a few years since I last visited Nisa Thai and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our lunchtime dishes. Nisa Thai offers a wonderful value for money lunchtime limited menu with sufficient dishes to choose from. Due to Covid19 restrictions the number of tables available have been reduced, we were lucky to be able to be squeezed in on the day but best to book. The restaurant serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic berevages. Parking is available in the neighbourhood.

Great value for money lunch specials, the chicken fried rice is excellent. Will come time and time again on weekdays for a great value for money lunch. Roti bread with satay sauce is also very yummy !

On our last trip to Noosa a few years ago, this place was fantastic - authentic Thai filled with herbs and spices . Prices were reasonable and service was great. We ate here three times in our 10 day holiday. This time round, we were served limp and tasteless food more like an old Chinese takeaway. We were left waiting for 45 minutes after our scheduled pick up time while the cooks (none of them Thai now, I see) played on their phones and chatted to each other. I hope we got them on a bad night, but it was really disappointing. The 15% holiday surcharge felt like a lot for a takeaway, too!

We eat Thai regularly and have been here before a year or so ago and thought it was OK, but only 'OK'. Tried it again and thought it was very mediocre food. Didn't find much on the menu that appealed (a lot of fish which we don't like). We found both of the chicken dishes we ordered were unpleasant - I went home and brushed my teeth to get rid of the taste afterwards. No mention on their website whether they are licensed or BYO so put an online inquiry in regarding that, 2 days before we went, and had no response. We won't be back there - there are other much better Thai restaurants in Noosa. The waitress was pleasant.

Disappointing Thai food! Monday night, full house, sitting outside on a very cold evening. All rugged up with heaters keeping us warm. There is no indoor seating. We always judge any good Thai restaurant on their Pad Thai, the benchmark. We had Duck spring rolls but could not see any meat, so perhaps we were given vegetable spring rolls. Nothing special.
The Pad Thai was so uninteresting, very sloppy, like a gluggy sauce at the bottom of the dish. It was bland and none of those delicious wok burnt flavours.
When I looked into the kitchen, it appeared there were no cooks of Thai origin, and the main cook was cooking with a mobile phone attached to his ear whilst cooking; not a good look! It really tasted like dish cooked by someone who had never tasted a good Pad Thai. We have eaten at this restaurant before but won’t return!

We have had takeaways from here but never dined in. It didn't disappoint. The dim sim entrée was excellent with just enough chili to enhance the dish. Both curry mains (Panang and Yellow) were tasty, the right level of spiciness and plentiful. The roti as light, crispy and delicious. Happy to return.

There are 3 Thai restaurants in short proximity to each other, but this little one is the best.
Lovely thai lady owner who is there most days to make sure you are getting the freshest and most authentic taste.
$12 lunch specials are fantastic, my husband thinks the $16 seafood lunch special is the best in town, even comes out on a fish shaped plate.
Parking around back of restaurant.

We ordered multiple curries and stir fries and each one was delicious, some of the best Thai we’d had. A favourite was the massaman curry, pad Thai and exotic stir fry. While the price may seem a little high it is well worth it for the portion size and the amount of meat you get. Definitely recommend!

Have eaten here many times which were usually always great, however in the last few months food has been subpar. Food lacking flavour and many dishes have been missing ingredients and different each time. Disappointing as it was one of my favourites.

We’ve ordered takeaway from Nisa Thai twice now and both experiences were great. Meals were ready quickly, not expensive, definitely not Noosa prices. Ordered the prawn red curry, chicken cashew vegetables, and the pad see ew. All dishes were delish. The staff were helpful with suggestions as well. Will certainly be a regular customer as keen to try more dishes.

We've had 30+ years of enjoying Thai food, since travelling Eastern and Asian countries together. In recent years we had almost lost hope in finding Thai food in Australia as beautifully cooked, perfectly authentic, and generous as this at Nisa Thai, Noosa! These chefs clearly know how to strike the perfect balance of every ingredient,to come up with pure, authentic Thai cuisine. All portions were generous too, something that many Thai restaurants in Australia seem to neglect. We ordered our Chilli Prawn Stir-fry HOT and beautifully HOT it was! The prawns were huge, plentiful, and totally fresh. Our duck currie was also second to nothing in our experience. Waiting staff were most pleasant, and thoughtful, and the restaurant atmosphere was a hit too. We live two hours away but will now have to become regulars here!

We had a fantastic experience at Nisa Thai, we found the staff to be friendly and attentive and very easily accommodated our dietary needs. By far the food was the best Thai we have ever had and we have been to many places over the years! Gorgeous setting outside with candles. Generous portions made with fresh ingredients, full of flavour and just perfectly balanced. Will be back and would recommend in a heartbeat! Highly recommend the green curry, coconut rice, cashew stir fry and satay chicken.

It's everything you'd expect from a Thai restaurant.
The service is attentive and efficient, the waitresses polite and demur, nothing is 'too much trouble'.
The menu is extensive and they were happy to prepare a 'half portion' for a child.
Adults had nothing to worry about when it came to portions sizes...!
The drinks menu was... 'alternate'... but again, precisely as you'd expect from a purveyor of Eastern cuisine. Surprisingly the cheap champagne (sparkling wine) was not so nasty!
The 'take away' trade was brisk (always a good sign).
All-in-all, a pleasant Thai meal.

I ordered several dishes for takeaway. The food is amazing, spring rollls, Chicken Satay Laksa, Massaman Curry, Green Curry, Fried Rice. Picked up at lunch time to take home and freeze. Halved the meals as they were a generous size. A bit of a wait but well worth it.
