I've been struggling with this review because it is near to impossible to describe the incredible venue that is Agreco Farms. My husband and I were one of the lucky ones who managed to get married in the summer of 2020 (despite COVID 19) and...what can I say?! Agreco Farms was PERFECT. I dont want to bore you but some great things about this venue: - The food is second to none! Everyone that attended the wedding were astounded at how amazing the food was. So fresh, delicious and flavourful. Noone went hungry!!! We were asked to attend for a food and wine tasting a few days before the wedding and they were SO generous!! They let us try all of their wines and a huge variety of dishes. - The service was fantastic. Everyone that works there are so so sweet and kind. They care so much about their guests and are the perfect hosts. - The views - WOW! The photos are amazing but they do not do it justice. When we visited in real life we were BLOWN AWAY! Stunning stunning views. Agreco - I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us. We were so lucky to have you guys as the venue. Thank you thank you thank you <3More

In September 2020, we celebrated our wedding at Agreco Farm. It was one of the most memorable days in our lives. The farm (and restaurant) itself was even more marvelous and idyllic than on the pictures. And the price winning organic food was simply incredible....The staff is extraordinary friendly. They helped us organize the wedding and added many aesthetic details to our event. We had a four-course dinner, blew everyone’s mind, but we also tried different dishes for lunch the days before. Besides dining at the restaurant, visiting the farm is an adventure for the whole family. The kids can look at the lambs, goats and fawns in the backyard, you can stroll through the vineyard or acquire honey, olive oil and other delectabilities in the shop. Or just have glass of Tsikoudia with myrtle. If you are visiting Crete, it is worth at least one trip!More

We are due to get married at Agreco Farm next year and travelled over to Crete this year for a small holiday- we knew we couldn't leave without trying out the food at Agreco. Our evening started with an amazing tour of the beautiful grounds...of the farm- which boasts all of their self sufficient vegetables and produce from olivea to herbs to pomegranates and courgettes. Our guide, Maria, was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and knew so much about the work on the farm. We then sat whilst the sun was setting in the restaurant for what I can only describe as a unbelievable journey of taste sensations! Course after course after course of home grown, excellently cooked produce. A personal highlight was the farm produced greek yoghurt with cretean thyme honey and walnuts. Our incredible meal was washed down with a bottle of the Farm's own rose wine from their vine yards. We cannot recommend Agreco Farm highly enough- one of Crete's best kept secret! We were looked after amazingly by George and his team and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much- we cannot wait to get married with you next year!More

The evening started with mountain tea and a tour of the farm. We got to see all the traditional ways in which Raki and olive oil are made and processed, a working water mill, honey collection, and all the organic produce, including the wine and...olives. The tour was hosted by the lovely Maria, who is warm and passionate. During the tour we tasted the wine, Raki, honey, olives and other wonderful organic produce. We were introduced to the various animals on the farm including baby goats, dear and a lovely donkey who my daughter took great pleasure in feeding wads of grass. As the sun was setting we found our tables over looking the olive-covered hills and sea of Crete, drenched in the evening sunlight. Then it started. Plate after plate of delicious food, from fresh salads, to stuffed gourds, braised and cured meats, exquisite yoghurt doused in thyme honey, baklava, canded organic fruit, Greek coffee. During the evening we must have eaten about 10 different dishes (and I was full after the fourth, which for me is saying something!) and 5 diferent wines lovingly chosen by Georgos the Farm manager and wine expert, from the estate's incredible cellar. We were treated so kindly by all the staff and my 4 year-old made friends with other children who ran around the village square as we chatted to other parents and continued the indulgence. I can only say good things about the whole experience. We will definately be going back for more- such good quality and very reasonably priced.More

While staying in Crete, you must experience the famous traditional cuisine and the mixture of old-world charm and lively Cretan life. The AgrecoFarms, traditional farm located around 5 km from our hotel ( Grecotel Creta Palace) will deliver this unique experience - a true Greek...hospitality. The farm is gorgeous, nestled between olive trees and vineyards, it's a beautiful example of environmentally friendly methods for traditional and modern cultivation. We had a delicious, very copious dinner followed by some traditional folklore dancing. A fantastic evening!More

Very interesting to see if you have some time. The 2 ladies owning the place are just wonderful. They explained how the oil was done then and how they do it now. A history lesson and some great people to meet.

This is a great place to visit. When visited, we were fortunate to have a tour in the farm and see the old wood oven for making home bread and the oil press while tasting some raki and wine. The food is excellent with produces...from the farm. All the dishes were great and tasted proper homemade Greek cuisine. We were so full at the end but we still wanted to try everything. The wine was superb as well as the raki. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing. It brought everyone together even if you didn’t speak the same language. You could enjoy the view of the farm and the hills all the way to the sea. Our little one loved to explore the animals on the farm and made friends with the other kids visiting. We would definitely go back again and recommend it to everyone to visit.More
