We went twice because the food is yummy, but prices are London plus (we are from London). Service is fantastic. Atmosphere is great and food is more interesting than most other places.

Beautiful restaurant nestled in the traditional Greek village of Megalochori. I was welcomed by the restaurant owner who gave me a personal tour of the building that houses the restaurant, what was once a Greek family home. The walls of the restaurant were adorned with...the owner's art work. I had a table on the terrace for dinner. The menu was a modern twist on Greek dishes. For starters I had the Dolma stuffed with shellfish, goat cheese cream and butter sauce. For main the slow cooked, lamb shoulder with chickpeas which was beautifully cooked. Finally, for dessert the creme chocolate. All dishes were perfectly matched with individual wine pairings that complimented each course which was all thanks to the recommendations of the sommelier. A great treat and a wonderful escape from the busier tourist towns of Santorini.More
Very warm welcome and tour of the cave site and art gallery before serving and assistance with choosing our wines. Lovely position in the village with different seating options. We returned for a second visit and were welcomed and remembered from our previous visit. Highly...recommend this lovely spot in Megalochori, a must to visit.More
The setting is beautiful and very unique. The service and hospitality top notch. The food was out of this world. Also, good portions and fair prices. You will not regret eating here. I highly recommend.
A very cosy, beautiful and special place for dinner. We sat outside between the paintings but the tables within the cave rooms looked lovely as well. We were very much blown away by not only the delicious food and wine, but mostly the kind and...warm hearted staff. For us, an amazing special last night of our Holiday!More
Great location in the centre of the village, stumbled across the gallery, and then booked a table for that evening! Also bought a painting whilst we are at it! Good service, become friends with them! Food very good, limited menu but great for us, lovely...tables upstairs on the roof, made us feel special. thanks again look forward to next year!More
What an evening probably one of the best venue I have eaten, it’s just such a simple concept but well executed! You have to go there!
From my favorite places in Santorini, with amazing service and plates! Let the staff recomend you the choice of wine, 99% the will make better choice from tou for you! My best experience from my whole saty in Santorini so on!!!
The staff was super nice and accommodating. The tour prior to dinner was lovely too. My two major complaints: there was a couple next to us smoking non stop! Literally blowing the smoke to us (gross!) perhaps because in the US this stuff isn’t permitted,...I was turned off. But most importantly the food was NOT good. The Greek salad had mushy tomatoes and lots of onions and barely anything else. My chicken dish was so salty I only had a few bites of it. Stay away! Again staff was lovely but the food Was NOT!More
Fantastic, unique art wine restaurant on the island . Warm welcome from all the staff members . The terrace offers breathtaking village view Food exceeded expectations, impeccable service. We was impressed with the wine selection .
We had a wonderful lunch outside on a hot July afternoon. After a tour of the wine gallery we had the restaurant all to ourselves. The food presentation was fabulous along with the recommended local wine. We really enjoyed the beautiful wall art. We found...this place and Megalochari well worth the taxi ride from Oia for a change of pace.More
Congrats to Natassa & Alexandros for creating such a nice atmosphere where enjoying fine dining Greek cuisine. This is one of the recommended places to spend a relaxing evening while visiting Santorini. Please try the incredible beef tartare 🥂🥂
A fantastic anniversary meal with my wife, my notes below: Appetizers: (1) grouper ceviche: bright, citrusy, spicy, tender…w/ passion fruit…I mean c’mon enough said. Quite possibly the best dish of the evening (2) octopus “stifado”: octopus = tender , homey, rich, pearl onions were candy-like…recommend...as well Mains: (1) Prawn dumplings: well balanced, shrimp = tender, creamy, unique dish (2) Pastitsio: RICHHH, beschamel = sinfully creamy and well proportioned to pasta/meat ratio, ox tail = tender/salty, transported to my grandmother’s house…mmm Wine: Hatzidakis Nykteri, mild, not too acidic, it was a decent pairing Service: wonderful staff, friendly, open, funny, social…a pleasure meeting this team of people, probably the best aspect of the meal Go here!More
I cant understand why for 4 consecutive years Alisachne has the same boring vegan options. How many times can we eat the same things and for these prices? Also too much plastic in the table - why a plastic cooler at a restaurant specialising in...wine?🤔More
Dear Marina. Congatulations you belong to the most famous person holding the 33% out of all negative reviews. We cannot understand your obsession with our restaurant IF you still visiting us. Lets make it clear we are not a vegan restaurant but a restaurant with...More
We had dinner here which was delicious! The ceviche was absolutely phenomenal. We also got a tour which was really interesting and not expected. We finished our visit in the jewelry gallery and bought some gorgeous jewelry! The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming!
