Great place, nice environment, delicious and fantastic dishes, acceptable prices, amazing sweets. There was a fault on a plate, which was addressed by the waiter immediately: he replaced it with such a... crash that you want to comfort him. Only problem the flow at serving. The dishes came when they were prepared, the first one got it finished long before the last one was served. I think this can fit. We'll go back, of course!

Only had chance to have lunch here after visiting the hot springs and whilst waiting for the local bus. It was relaxed and friendly with mainly Greek customers. A tourist asked to book a table for that evening and was patiently told there was really no need!
I’m not a cat person, but theirs were cute.
We had cheese pies, Greek salad, tzatziki, bread and beers. All delicious and we love a beer in a frozen glass on a hot day. Really miffed that we forgot to take some baklava away with us, especially as we didn’t come across it in any other taverna or bakery we visited.
We’d definitely go back for an evening meal next time.

Great taverna in a lovely setting.
watch the sun go down over eftalou whilst being served by friendly staff serving great food.
We went here a couple of times this holiday and wasn't disappointed,a little distance away from Molyvos so reasonably quiet.

We ate at this restaurant on a Monday evening and were very disappointed by the very limited menu available on the night. Considerably less than half the options on the printed menu were actually available.
What we actually had was nice, especially the Beef in the Oven which was melt in your mouth delicious.
The setting was nice and quiet.

Gone the days of the beautiful old taverna, gone with it all the old fig trees with their cool and refreshing shade, the beautiful flowers, the atmosphere.
Instead blaring loud music, nondescript international food instead of the real Greek cuisine Manolis, the old owner, provided.
Not worth a visit, forget it

After a few years of absence I visited this restaurant only to feel very disappointed in both the food and the poor attitude of the owner , The restaurant is under new management . they they think that they have converted it into gourmet so they charge gourmet prices,but the food is far from gourmet. Oh, they charge a cover charge . I paid 17 euros for shrimp saganaki, and I was surprised to see that the entire plate consisted of three shrimps. We had a shrimp pasta which was average and a risotto plate that had three mussels that were frozen and a few calamari also frozen. When I spoke to the owner about the quantity of the food , he was very argumentative and told me that I should have looked at the prices and did not offer an explanation as to the cover charge or why only 3 shrimps for the price of 17 euros. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Mytilini has plenty of restaurants to choose from .

After reading all the great reviews I couldn't wait to eat here. Sadly, it has been taken over and the food is now diabolical. The sign outside promising authentic Greek cuisine is fraudulent. In reality the 'restaurant' offers a plethora of poorly cooked junk food. I had a mushroom burger. This was tinned mushrooms, cabbage and mayonnaise served in a soggy, cheap and non toasted roll. Avoid. It's the only place in the local area where I have not had an excellent meal.

Food was amazing, best we have had in this island. Fresh fish was something that you should definitely try in here! We ate here several times because not only the food but the service made the visit always pleasant. The atmosphere and the peaceful music was the crerry on top.

We had lunch here when we visted the hot spring at Eftalou. I had grilled sardines, these were cooked ok, though no crispy skin! My wife had a chivken kebab (Souvlaki) this was dry and tastless. The wine was nice and the service was ok. Just very disappointed about the food. There are not many restaurants to choose from in Eftalou., so its Hobson's choice!

The food in this taverna was good and service fine also. Terrace next to the beach had a nice view. There were many cats at the restaurant terrace thou and they were a bit disturbing.

Having tried almost all the restaurants in the area of Molivos and Eftalou, this is my favorite. Food is so fresh and high-quality, prepared traditionally. Very tasty and generous portions. No problem in finding vegetarian options. Service is friendly and efficient and the owners are very nice. Prices are fair and lower than you find in Molivos. All that and a beautiful flowery patio to relish the view of the sea makes this the authentic, family-run taverna that I keep coming back to.

One of the best restaurants tavern in the area. Excellent choice for families with children. All dishes we tried were above average and service was fine. Can be combined with a visit to nearby attractions
