Although the location is excellent ( right on the beach) and the food good . the lack of service was very annoying . Our drinks were served 45 min after order and the food only arrived 90 minutes after ordered. After asking for a wine list 3 times , I had to get up and fetch it myself.

We were staying at the Hotel L'Archipel, 30 minutes or so along the beach, and found this restaurant by chance when we visited the local village to buy postcards. We were hoping to find somewhere for lunch and, looking through the front door, from the main street, it appeared to be a good option. We found that we could eat... More

This restaurant is directly located at the beach, but you can also dine/lunch 'inside'. Very friendly and professional staff, smooth service and delicious food. In weekends you should book a table as they are very popular.

I ate here because I was traveling solo and had a book I wanted to finish while enjoying a meal and a drink on the beach. The food was simple -- I had the catch of the day, which was an entire grilled fish, served with rice and Creole chutney. I also had a glass of wine. The total bill... More

Food is very good, especially sea food and meat. The atmosphere is relaxing with tables on sandy beach and candle lights. The owner is very hands on, he is welcoming every guest. They may improve servise speed though.

The dining room at this boutique hotel is worth a visit. Beautifully decorated in an unusual style and you have the choice to dine out or in. We enjoyed a good meal whilst listening to the gentle waves lapping the shore.

We went for dinner one evening and we were disappointed by everything: the lack of light to read the menu, the lack of choice of food, the food itself, the lack of service and the price!

Stayed to eat there on Jabnuary. Was the only place in town where I was bitten endlessly by Mosquitos. Ordered a salad and 2 main pasta dishes. Could not put utensils on our table until I asked for some. for napkins I went and took myself. With the salad they did not bring 2 small plates to share. pasta was... More

My wife and I stayed 4 days on Praslin and tried several restaurants. In general all prices (in €) are high and quality of food as well as cooking mostly were poor. Village de pecheur was the worst we tried - unacceptable quality of the food and horrible cooking. The waiter were nice and friendly but could noz compensate the... More

This place looks really nice and went in in the afternoon to book a table for the evening after some looks like "what do you think you're doing here" we made it through to the restaurant and a nice and friendly (young) lady took the details and let us choose a table. On returning in the evening we stood around... More
