Highly creative menu. Best food I’ve ever had in Alaska in any restaurant. Laura Cole is a talented and super creative chef. Worth the 2 hour drive from Fairbanks for sure. Fun fact, Chef Laura Cole is a contestant on Top chef season 15. Which...More

Was expecting more cafeteria style dining but this was fine dining with out the stuffiness of a big city restaurant. An award wining chef, Lura Cole, changes the menu daily based on what the local Alaska bounty provides her with that day. They have boxed...More

Our taxi driver mentioned this chef owned restaurant when we asked her for some suggestions for dinner. It was excellent! The service, presentation, appetizers and main courses were delicious and unique. Reservations are recommended and I would encourage them. Don't want to get there and...More

We had dinner here and loved the ambiance and feel of the space, ate well-prepared food and enjoyed good service. The appetizers and desserts in particular were fabulous and the entrees were nicely presented and tasty.

We were excited about trying this place since it is locally sourced and had a great menu. But the food was only average especially for the price. We had an awesome flatbread but then it went downhill. Any dish with salad greens, bok chop, etc....More

We travel each year on our anniversary and celebrate at an outstanding restaurant. This year we chose 229 Parks in Denali. We have had remarkable meals in Scotland, Greece, Spain, etc. Dinner at 229 Parks was among the best. Beautiful place, terrific service, incredible food.

High quality food and cooked to perfection. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and we had a hard time picking only two. We ended up getting the Alaskan octopus and reindeer ragu, both amazing! It's a little tricky to find, but they are near the...More
