View 5* such a gorgeous setting. Playground for kids but its in a dry mud area. (Compared to Vasillis Taverna further down which has a lovely grassy play area.)
Service was not with a smile...staff joking in kitchen but not really interested in customers so...it doesn't feel homely or proud of food like most restaurants in this area. Food was average. Starters ....the vine leaves were awful, they are my sons favourite thing and he ate them everywhere we went and these are the only ones he spat out. Salty, no filling hardly and tough green around them. Mains were good. Side dish was cold in the middle where it had not been left long enough in the microwave oven...i sent it back once a member of staff actually came our way (no is everything ok with your meal in this restaurant). Dessert was fine. Would not go back.More
Easy to park, you enter this restaurant and are shown to your table where the staff were very friendly and keen to please. We had a couple of lovely meals here, the food is authentic greek and really delicious. There was a nice atmosphere and...we were not rushed.. Highly recommend.More
Visited based on the Tripadvisor reviews and it did not disappoint at all. We had the Cretan style "horta" greens and a salad with walnuts and figs to start and then my wife had a perfectly cooked grilled octopus and good house white wine and...I had a delicious chicken fillet with a cheese sauce. For dessert we had their take on a karidopita (walnut cake). This was surrounded in honeyed filo and topped with dark chocolate. It shouldn't have worked but really did! They still gave us a tasty complimentary dessert afterwards.
Menu has many popular Greek classics as well as more local cuisine. The location had a great traditional taverna feel with fantastic views down to Falassarna beach and it was surprisingly cheap too. 100% recommend if you are in the area!More
Cozy and with an amazing view. Spilios is a great place to have dinner and watch the sunset. Great service and delicious food. It has a good balance of meat and fish offering. Worth checking the salads as well.
Great view, amazing atmosphere, good food. We discovered this place by accident while looking for a dinner place to see the sunset, it is a perfect place for that. Very kind staff, main dishes are ok, good but nothing very special, delicious desserts and breathtaking...view. I would visit it again for sure.More
Surprisingly authentic and good food in a touristy place. Prices also regular and good service!
Definitely worth the 5-minute driver from Falasarna beach to eat here, still with great views, as to eat at one of those places at the beach.
The food at Spilios is delicious, all of the waiters, waitresses and owner are verey nice and they make sure you're always well served. I definitely recommend this place, close to Falasarna for traditional Greek food.
The view! Both when you rise your eyes and see the brearhtaking sunset and when you look down and see this delicious, cretenian, organic food. The service makes you feel like in 3 star restaurant. The amous bouche you get with free water. Than the...menu with both vege and meat dishes. The little dessert with raki is also on the house! The dishes you see in the picutre were 26 euro totall. Twenty six. Thats right. Price is sooooooo small compared to the love put in and the taste. Crete is worth visiting just to eat here!More
